Indoor Cat got out and got in a scuffle with an animal

He broke his pelvic and we had lots of bills to try to see if he could get better. ASPCA quickly repaid us. Yeah! He's getting better and we didn't have to put him down.

Price gouging

Had Spot for a year and had zero issues with my cat during that time and they raised my rate by 40% for the second year.

Embrace does a great job!

Embrace does a great job! Very pleased with how my claim was handled. They do a good job of keeping you aware of what stage your claim is in. Processing was relatively quick.

embrace seemed like an OK company…

embrace seemed like an OK company although they make you wait for long periods of time while requesting detailed medical records that don't make a lot of sense but when I try to add a third pet to my Policy who is only two years old and has never had any medical problems I had taken him to a veterinarian because he was vomiting which as we know all dogs do at one time or another day then sent me the policy with a pre-existing condition clause that says that if he ever vomited or anything made vomit though there's an underlying condition about vomiting that they would not pay the claims for 18 months or perhaps permanently I decided against this company for that and went back to the akc insurance which does not have any pre-existing condition clause after the waiting period

Fetch insurance has been a lifesaver…

Fetch insurance has been a lifesaver for me! When my dog fell seriously ill, I was overwhelmed with worry and the financial burden of the hefty vet bills. Thankfully, Fetch stepped in and alleviated both my emotional and financial stress. I’m incredibly grateful I chose Fetch insurance when my dogs were puppies. Their affordable coverage has provided me with peace of mind, especially as my dogs have aged and faced health issues.

They wont cover anything

They wont cover anything. Wiggle out of any claim. I had their insurance 8 months or so and paid $4,500 on my vet bills without ever getting a penny from them. It just made all the process of having bet problems worse cause in addition to paying $4,500 out of pocket I had to have tons of conversations, send them vet bills, write appeal letters and get repeated annoying denials. Also they said it was preexisting, but they denied my claim because they said an ACL tear in a 3 year old dog is an illness not an accident and I didn’t have an illness plan. Even my vet said she had never seem claims like this denied for this reason and she personally called them to say she disagreed.

Huge disappointment

Once Pet Plan sold to some other company and became Fetch, the entire website, app customer service, and coverage went down significantly. Pet Plan was awesome, Fetch is awful. It’s impossible to get a customer service person on the phone, their chat bot is broken, and their coverage has become very scammy. I plan to move my pets to another insurance.
