Quick and Easy Claims Process
Our Dutch shepherd ate a used latex glove and had to get x-rays at the regular vet and then x-rays and bloodwork at the emergency vet to determine if there was an intestinal blockage or toxin consumption. The claims were incredibly easy to submit, and Embrace paid quickly. Very impressed!

I am new to Pumpkin and have found the customer service excellent. I feel much more confident about having a new puppy knowing she has insurance.

I have been more than pleased with Spot…
I have been more than pleased with Spot Pet Insurance. The Web site is easy to navigate, they are very attentive to questions and most important they are quick to process a claim. I would recommend Spot to everyone looking for a great Pet Insurance company.

Check fine print
Registration for new insurance is set up to run smoothly. Filing a claim was easy and was handled quickly with a check already on its way. However, do be sure to read the fine print of the Wellness/Preventative insurance. We had a number of costs for our new puppy to get him "up and running". Our vet has a puppy plan that we purchased for $300, and we added on some immunizations to that too, reaching about $400 for the first visit (all eligible for reimbursement). We were only reimbursed the amount we spent annually on the wellness insurance (so...cut even on purchasing the insurance, which is not the point of purchasing insurance), and I checked and found fine print that if a vet offers a "puppy plan" bundle, they only reimburse up to the yearly fee. They may have a good reason for this, but it does not instill trust for future claims.

They will find any reason to try to deny claims
This company will happily take your money for years and then when a claim is made try to find reasons not to pay. Pre-existing conditions make sense but when they start to blame other ailments and issues on that issue just so they don't have to pay, it's criminal. Their customer service team is very nice and sympathetic, they may even agree that it's the wrong decision but they do not have a say.
