Pre-existing conditions monotomy
Initially this insurance was very positive in both processing and payment of claims. I have had this insurance since 2018 and was very satisfied during the the first two years even though I had not submitted too many claims. In the past few years however, each claim I have submitted is denied for pre-existing conditions which seems ironic since prior claims with the same diagnosis were reimbursed. I was given the opportunity to file an appeal however at this point my confidence in this business is not reliable nor do i want to continue paying the premiums while that process persists

Embrace is the best pet insurance
Embrace is the best pet insurance. It can be a little pricey, but in the long run, if your pet has lots of issues, this will be a money saver. I have had this pet insurance since 2018. Customer service is exceptional, and the claims get completed relatively quickly. Highly recommend Embrace pet insurance.

Useless
I got insurance for my dog, and she started having some allergies, ears infection, and some wounds in her legs, at the end the insurance did not cover anything, so in my experience...this insurance is totally USELESS, wasting time doing the claims which would be great that the Clinic could send directly, but not. I will definitely cancel their service and look for other options.

Poor customer support
I opened an account for pet insurance. I paid the bill, I tried registering with the customer center. I kept getting error messages saying my account number was incorrect even though I copied and pasted it. I emailed to get the problem resolved and I never heard back. I called multiple times. I’m still waiting to get registered. I’m not impressed with the customer support so far :(

Should be less than 1 star
Should be less than 1 star. This company is as expected during the application part and has competitive pricing. They excel when taking your premium. Now god help anyone if they have a claim. I have never experienced a claims process like this in my life. I currently have several insurance policies with 2 current and relatively minor claims. You have to fight with claims agents if you can get a hold to them, from every time zone within Canada, again if you can get a hold to them or they don't disappear without notice. Some are very rude and the customer service and complaints department spins you around in circles. Choose to believe this or not, but Sonnet (and all the other company names) is a border line scam operation, takes your money and does not pay a claim. Time to lawyer up. Sonnet, please save your comments here, because it will likely be as phony as your company.
