Customer service listens and follows through when errors on their part occur. So far the only negative is that it’s sometimes difficult to talk to someone on the phone, up to two hours waiting and still not able to talk to someone

Easy process - Upfront Company.
The sign- up process was easy. I made a mistake in selecting the right breed. And called to correct it. The customer service was fantastic - friendly and helpful. Answered all my questions and also offered some guidance on submitting a claim. I haven’t submit a claim yet but my son has this insurance and says the claim process is great.

I’m not a fan
I’m not a fan. I paid it for 16 months because I didn’t have the cash available should something serious happen. But my first experience submitting claims was ridiculous. They asked for access to all of my 3 dogs medical records then listed everything that they’ve been seen for as a pre-existing condition. For example - One of my dogs had had diarrhea so they listed stomach trouble as pre-existing and said she wouldn’t be covered for future diarrhea. No, one round of diarrhea does not make a pre-existing condition. My vet agreed that just because they’d been seen for various issues in the past, those issues were treated and didn’t require ongoing care. As such, they weren’t pre-existing conditions. My vet offered to do the documentation for all 3 dogs but I didn’t bother. Between not covering routine care & then the pre-ex bs, I knew that I wouldn’t buy indefinite coverage. I purchased coverage from spring 2022-June 2023.

Very difficult to get claims paid or accepted
So I was fought tooth and nail for more information on every claim I’ve made. I had to go back to the vet 3 times to get my claims accepted. Once they were accepted they told me I didn’t have the right coverage or it was a pre existing condition. After 2 years I finally had two claims accepted.

A healthier dog thanks to Embrace!!!
Last fall, our vet told us that our German shepherd, Ava was very overweight (129 pounds). He said that if she didn’t lose weight, she could develop a lot of health problems. We started walking her right away. We also adjusted her diet. However, our cold and snow season started early. The vet told us about their rehabilitation program of hydrotherapy sessions that would help her lose weight. After 5 months of hydrotherapy sessions, our dog has lost 40 pounds and is now at a healthy weight. This would never have been financially possible without the insurance that we have through Embrace. We are beyond grateful for the insurance process: the ease of filing claims, the quick direct deposit reimbursements, and the excellent customer service that the staff at Embrace provide. The insurance that they provide gives us reassurance that we can always access the best care for our furry family. Thank you, Embrace!!!
