I have Spot Pet Insurance, and I’m happy I do. I have a French Bulldog who had an issue with his eye. It was involved and went on for a while. I submitted my claims to Spot, and my claims were attended to in a timely manner, and I’m happy with the outcome. Thank you Spot.

Online claim submission straight forward. Would suggest instructions include that claim submission asks first for expense information and then, secondly, injury/illness and treatment information. Also, allow documentation to be appended to diagnosis and treatment information.

Embrace is a Borderline Scam
If you've taken your pet to the vet before, Embrace is likely not for you. My expectation was clear pre-existing conditions would be covered but had no idea how one-sided their rulings would be with an intentionally cumbersome appeal process. Had your dog in for the vet to look at a benign cyst a year ago? Embrace's stance: "All types of cancers are permanently ineligible for coverage" Our pet recently was cut on his stomach incidentally by the groomer and Embrace determined that an ear infection a year prior made it ineligible since it was related to the "derm." We were highly dissatisfied with their claim process and their support team.
