The ease of use and access
The ease of use and access! I really like how it wasn’t a problem logging in, doing what I needed to do and being done. I’ve yet to have any problems with any experiences.

Misrepresentation of Pre-existing conditions
Though this review is from my April 19th experience, this is representative of what I have been dealing with Embrace Insurance. When we brought our 2-month old puppy home in June 2022, I made an error of filing a claim within the 14-day waiting period with this insurance. The puppy had loose motion from chewing something in his new home and the doctor gave medication for diarrhea. This was marked as a pre-existing condition and ever since, they keep applying this excuse to every claim we make similar to this. The dog never had any prior medical condition to be marked so. Even for this April 19th scenario, he had gastroentritis and doctor a medication to help with that. Embrace marked it as another diarrhea and now extended the waiting period. This has been frustrating and causing us to lose money. Myself and the dog's vet have tried to explain this but Embrace won't listen.

It’s great but I wish I had the option online to add wellness to my plan. I tried reaching out to Figo support via messages and never got a reply regarding how to add wellness to my plan.

Fraud
I have used Healthy Paws since 2018. I have a large mixed breed dog and opted in for the premium coverage at 90%, paying $208.40 a month. In March 2023, I had a fraud detection on my credit card and needed to replace my credit card. I had auto payments set up on Healthy Paws and forgot to update payment on the app. This happened previously in Oct 2022 when my CC expiration date passed. They notified me via email and on the app notifications. I updated payment immediately and there was no issue, no lapse in the policy. This time however, I received no notifications of a missed payment (not via mail, email, phone call, or app). I asked for proof of notification and received none. Mind you, I have all other email correspondence receipts (every time the premium increased, every change to the policy, I have proof of all other emails with Healthy Paws), but there was not one notification of this missed payment for 2023. The only email I received was on April 23rd 2023, saying my policy was cancelled due to missed payment. I reached out immediately. They said they would not reinstate my policy even if I paid right away. Further more, because of my dog's age I was also not allowed to sign up as a new member. Over the last five years, I have not missed one payment, and I only filed 1 single claim in 2020. My claim got me a total of $15 refund and immediately increased my premium, so I never filed again and decided to only file should the worst happen (cancer at old age, etc.). None of this mattered. They would not reinstate or offer any help. I paid thousands of dollars for absolutely nothing. Now, as my dog is 10 years old, I am not able to sign up for a new policy at this or any other insurance provider. I have no recourse. They don't care, why would they? I already paid them over $8K.
