Pets Best delays paying claims

Pets Best is always very slow to review claims when they owe me money. When I haven't met my deductible they are nice and prompt. If I had it to do over (and I will with future pets) I would NEVER buy insurance from this sham company. *edited to respond to Pets Best's ridiculous response: There is nothing "complicated" about a thyroid test! Whenever you owe me a reimbursement it takes a long time. Until I've met my deductible you are fast. It's your pattern.

Angela is the best

Angela was absolutely amazing. She deserves a raise. She identified a plan that would work perfectly for my dog. She answered every question with a positive and precise response. Great experience with Pets Best

The app is super easy to use to submit a claim! Very clear directions and steps to follow. Love how easy it is to take a photo of paperwork that is needed. Very prompt on reimbursement and if there is a delay an email is sent letting us know that you are still working on our claim. This is so appreciated because as a customer it helps us know that you have not forgotten our claim and the company knows we’re still waiting on it. It’s a really nice courtesy. Thank you, so far a great experience with Pets Best!

I’ve had insurance for 10 years with…

I’ve had insurance for 10 years with healthy paws and the 1 time I go to make a claim, everyone is dragging their feet, delaying payment. We’ve spent countless hours jumping thru all their hurdles and delay tactics including resubmitting info multiple times. I intend to pursue legally if not resolve shortly. I’d stay away from healthy paws altogether.

Everything is a pre existing condition

Everything is a pre existing condition. If your pet had diarrhea due to medication, diarrhea is now a pre existing condition and they have to be diarrhea free regardless of reason, for 12 months to be covered. Pet insurance is a joke

I have a claim opened with sonnet…

I have a claim opened with sonnet insurance 1918802. The claim has been open 8 weeks. It was a burglary theft claim and right from the beginning the adjuster has treated me like a criminal. They are showing prejudice towards me because of my job, religion and status. I have provided same documents to them over and over again and it's not ending. After 8 weeks of no coverage confirmation for a theft I had with a police report, I reached the ombudsman office and then someone from SIU reached out. They came over and told me they went to speak to my neighbors. This is captured on my camera as well. I have been more than accommodating but they are treating me like I'm lying and can't afford high priced items from stores like aritzia. They are ruining my reputation and now want to contact my family. They have crossed a line just because where I live, what I do as a living and I feel they are also prejudice because of my religion and cultural background. I will be canceling my policy upon renewal and am going to start talking to a lawyer about a bad faith lawsuit and reaching out to the news channels and provide them my chain of emails with the adjuster. I will not allow sonnet to bully me. Update. Nobody reached out to me or returned my call.
