Surprisingly good
Unfortunately, I lost my cat after a hard-fought battle with cancer. The representative was extremely caring and walked me through how to remove him from my insurance and the timeline I had to submit claims. I honestly didn't think I'd be reimbursed because of a potential pre-existing condition, but they have acepted every one of my claims. No amount of money will ever bring my baby back, but it eases the financial stress.

Healthy Paws insurance for my 5 Fur babies! This is the best insurance! I can not express the amount of peace of mind I have knowing my babies are covered. I have had to file claims on multiple dogs. Healthy Paws reimburse me within days ….usually 3 days. They have saved my babies multiple times! I will never go with another company.

Usually they have been great to work with speedy reimbursement for visits. But now things are taking longer and now up to 42 business days for a claim? It’s frustrating to see that.

Grateful for Pets Best being there when I needed them.
I cannot say enough good things about these people. My sweet boy, who has never had any real issues had an emergency surgery in February (a successful splenectomy). Then this month, we took him to the vet because he didn't seem to be feeling well, and after discovering lesions on his liver, we had to say goodbye to him three days later. This was the most difficult thing I've ever done, but having insurance gave us the peace of mind to have blood work done, an ultrasound done, a surgical consult, pain meds, and finally, Caring Pathways to come to our home so our Bodie could be comfortable and in familiar surroundings. Pet's Best covered what my policy said they would. We knew with the insurance that we could afford to get the information we needed to make the best decisions for our sweet boy. They handled it all quickly, and with compassion. I am so grateful.

Pets plus us was recommended by a friend when we were considering pet insurance for our dog. It turned out to be an excellent choice. The experience working with Pets Plus Us was stress-free. Which was a nice change from the experience of our dog ingesting a toxin and all that went with it! We received reimbursement less than two weeks from the event requiring and maybe a medical care. Rates are reasonable and I highly recommend this company if you have a pet.
