Best Pet Insurance!
This is the first time I had to file claims with Healthy Paws and it was a very easy and fast process! My kitty Arya was recently diagnosed with a thymoma tumor that required surgery to have it removed. Healthy Paws covered 80% of the expenses that included X-rays, ultrasound, CT scan, surgery, hospital care and medication. Total cost for everything was $23,500 and I was only responsible for 20%. Healthy Paws saved me a lot of money! They even worked directly with the vet hospital and made arrangements for direct pay for the surgery which made it so much easier for me financially. Reimbursement for claims are incredibly fast and I received my money with direct deposit within 3 days after filing. Every customer service rep I spoke to with questions I had about claims were terrific and very compassionate about Arya's situation. Having Healthy Paws Pet Insurance made everything easier and I was able to get Arya the treatment she needed. Good news is the tumor was successfully removed and she'll make a full recovery! Having Healthy Paws is having peace of mind for both of my kitties.

No coverage - read fine print on pre-existing conditions
We switched insurance carriers to TP as we heard good reports, but soon to find this was a frustrating waste of money. Our pup was declined coverage for allergy testing. We were given the reason as a "pre-existing condition," but he has never had allergies. When challenging the claims we were told the pre-existing condition was a bee sting. I asked to cancel the account and the specialist hung up on me. I called back and was on hold for a bit-fine with me as she was checking into the claim. This time the specialist told me the pre-existing claim was an ear infection. Again I asked to cancel the account, and again they hung up on me.

Every claim will be denied because of a nonexistent pre-existing condition
It doesn’t matter what your pet is diagnosed with. They will do everything in their power to market as a pre-existing condition and then when you ask, why will not give you any details on why they justified that and will refuse to provide the copy of the medical records, they’re supposedly using to determine that. It’s a complete scam I’ve ever dealt with.

DONT BUY FIGO PET INSURANCE
I got Figo pet Insurance for my 4 dogs. After almost getting through their waiting period my dog got a lump on her leg...it was not there prior to getting the insurance. Sure enough cancer..not sure what kind cuz it cost 500 to get it checked out. I was 14 days from it being covered and they denied it. I ended up after 3-4 mos having to put her down. In the meantime I decided to cancel all policies for my 4 dogs. It is now 31 BUSINESS days and still no refund. I have called several times to check on it and always told it is being refunded...I have asked to talk to supervisor a few times...always NO ONE is available...and always told someone will call back but NO ONE calls back...and NO REFUND AND NO HEALTH CARE when my dog really needed it. Don't waste your money. Set it aside in an account and if something happens you'll have it. I found other reviews --- too late--- on reddit and other places saying this company will take your money but not give you the health care you pets deserve. Find someone else!

Thank you for saving us in such a stressful time!!
We have a cat who tends to be more pukey and for about two days straight we thought he was trying to cough up a hairball, well when we realized that he started gagging more and more frequently with nothing coming out, we got very worried. We thought he had swallowed something he shouldn't have and something may have been stuck. Given we already had lost time, and our vet couldn't take him for another two days, we went to the emergency vet. Long story short and $5300 later... we were so financially stressed and worried, PetsBest covered EXACTLY what they had promised per our policy with no questions asked and claims process was so easy. WE ARE SO THANKFUL to Pets Best!!

Not too impressed
I’m not impressed with the handling of anything regarding Embrace. When I need to speak with a customer service representative, I spend ridiculously long amounts of time on hold. Then the people dealing with the claims often seems less than caring or knowledgeable. Not thrilled that I switched to Embrace.
