Saved my twice!
My first Chiweenie, Ruca, got cancer and was in the hospital for 5 days with a bill of over $10,000.. Insurance paid 95% of the bill. My second Chiweenie, Sandy, got HGE and was in the hospital for 2 days and again, I got most of my money back. Both of those hospital stays would have had me in debt for years. Thank you Pets Best for saving my so much debt and allowing me to get treatment for my babies. I am a dog trainer and I tell ALL of my clients about Pets Best!
Do not fall for Nationwide's insurance…
Do not fall for Nationwide's insurance ssam. They lure you in while you have a puppy o to reasonable rates. Then one day, when your puppy is an adult, they "rape" you with charges. My bill went up 63% one year without any promise of not gouging in the he future. In other words, next year they can raise my rates 100%, And of course getting new insurance on an older dog is prohibitive. Shame in Nationwide. Do not fall prey to their tactics. I'm writing to the insurance commission.

Poor process and unacceptable decline
I wrote this in the review previously but I was denied with my claim twice (once for the inability of Pets Best to secure summary records of my pet and second of denying a known accident as described in the vet records provided). The records was frustrating because I reached out to both clinics located in Wenatchee and East Wenatchee as a result of Pets Best stating the clinic was unresponsive. There were no attempts records by either offices. Once I was able to secure my pets records in a matter of 2 days with a simple phone call, those were submitted to Pets Best. Again, claim was denied due to EOB stating that the injury was not covered. This is a blatant abuse of policy coverages when a known injury was documented by my provider. I am continuing to work towards a resolution with Pets Best, otherwise I will be seeking litigation actions against the company to ensure others don't have to have this level of mismanagement of claims and lack of living up to the expected benefits of an insurance company. Unless resolved to my satisfaction, I will also start a social media campaign to bring this malfeasant action to light.
Lucy's surgery
My dog Lucy got really sick after getting a cat toy stuck in her small intestine. She was able to get surgery within 48 hours. Pet's Best took care of the financial end and let us focus on caring for Lucy and helping her make a full recovery.

Poor Customer Service
So far, I've had this insurance for a month. They sent ME an email asking me to confirm that my dog had no preexisting conditions after they checked with her vet. So I responded to the email and they said I was not allowed to ask this. I purchased this coverage. I set it up. They take their monthly payment out of my checking account. But apparently, only my husband can contact them. Anya T still denied me. Quite misogynistic. Finally they added me to the account, (that I opened), after I told them I was going to cancel the insurance. I still have not received a response to find out if my vet thought that she had any preexisting conditions. She's 13 years old and we are paying $140 per month. She's very healthy and active. After reading the other reviews, I feel that this insurance company that was endorsed by USAA, was a bad choice.
