Thank you, Trupanion and Animal Health Partners!
I am truly grateful for the wonderful care for my little Yorkie companion from Animal Health Partners and for Trupanion for helping to pay for her much needed diagnosis, medical treatment, and follow up care! What an amazing team of caregivers AHP has provided for us and Trupanion being there to help pay the bills to enable care for her recovery! Thank you!!
Please God DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY!!!
Let me start by requesting for no response from the frauds getting paid to rebuttal on every negative review. You are happily getting overpaid with the money Embrace steals from their customers. They are full of $#it!! Do not, I mean DO NOT sign up with this company. The customer service is ridiculous… they are literally trained to deal with upset consumers. They all have a script and only say “I’m sorry but….”. When asked to transfer to a supervisor they will tell you that there are none available due to attending a meeting”. They screwed thee crap out of me. My dog is dead and all because they said her diagnosis was pre existing, based off a previous visit that she had been seen for prior to coverage. They denied me but said if I could have the vet send an email to confirm the previous appointment had nothing to do with her illness diagnosis from a year ago!!! I, unfortunately, could not afford the vet bills(hence the point of insurance)… or Atleast I thought. I doubt there is more than 3% of customers that receive reimbursement for long term illnesses… and those are probably only because they signed up when their pet had NEVER been to a vet. Once I proved the prior visit had nothing to do with the current one… they dug up some BS old appointment from a year ago and made some excuse as to why they missed it during the review process. I will be taking Embrace to court. Praise the Lord I work for a law firm that deals with insurance companies!!! I hope that I can have more people back me up in this lawsuit… and we can all win a settlement. This is NO JOKE… the legal process has already begun. As stated at the beginning of my review… DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS REVIEW U LESS YOU ADMIT ALL GUILT and REIMBURSE ME FOR MY PUPS VET BILLS… along with the pain and suffering from the loss of our beloved furbaby that meant the world to us!!! RIH our beautiful baby girl… I hope Embrace looses everything in this settlement! If you respond to this email, you are admitting guilt, and it will be used in court. If anyone would like to reach out to me for information about the lawsuit and a possible settlement, email me at JustSpamMe210 at Gmail.com Creating an “undercover” email address is my only way to stay anonymous… I pray we can all get closer in this. EMBRACE PET INSURANCE is NOT WHAT YOU WANT! I promise to God they are scammers!!!!

Very Reasonably Priced
The ASPCA pet insurance is by far the most reasonably priced insurance that I found. The only drawback is that you can't change your due date. My husband and I are on social security so we have limited funds, especially by the end of the month. Had I realized that, I would have waited to apply for the insurance.

I would like to start with the only…
I would like to start with the only thing that went correctly and that was Connie who was on the other end of the phone at Nationwide. She was AMAZING, sensitive and caring and got it done! Now for the reason I am leaving a review... I have one by one left Nationwide with my pack of dogs due to the poor quality of underwritten pet insurance. Perhaps over the some the things I will mention have improved, but my experience has been they they have not. It was all fine until I NEEDED insurance help with my best girl Addie. A young ENglish Cream Golden Retriever who came from BRED with HEART AKC accreditation as well as all her families genetic testing and clearances. She was bred which is not a covered benefit, only TRUPANION covers breeding expenses. When she went into labor she did not progress and I took her the ER Vet which was during COVID btw so things were also done differently. They did a C-section and discovered that my Addie only has 1 pup and it was stillborn. The vet called me and said I needed to spay her that sadly she genetically was born with only one kidney and it was very irregular in shape and size. I agreed. From there it all began ... She needed a lot of labs, a lot of medication and a lot of medical attention for the CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE that was causing her to have critical health issues. I wrote a detailed letter when submitting her invoices explaining that I knew they didn't cover breeding but this was not a breeding issue. The breading actually is how we found out she was in critical health. Her behavior and symptoms were all 100% normal! I sent in ALL the paperwork from the ER VET and our regular vet. Nationwide kept sending me letters asking for more info but they had ALL the info. Then they would ask for a couple more weeks to make a decision, Finally it was 6 months later and had enough! I had paid into them for YEARS with no claims on all my other pets and probably at least a year for Addie as well. I sent in a letter and told them if I didn't get a decision within 2 weeks I would file a complaint with the California Insurance Commissioner. Within 10 days I received a check for all the invoices I had submitted to begin with and all that I had filed after to a maximum of the benefit year which was $7500. In an 18 month time frame she had over $25k in medical bills to keep her healthy. She would have routine follow up and then her Creatinine would spike and she'd have to go to ICU for animals. We would get it down and she would act 100% herself again for months. So for the cost of about $56 a month I had only $15k paid out of the $25k in expenses! My fault for not reading the policy or comparing! Now I use Trupanion and have had great results and unlimited claims paid for about the same cost and by about I mean within $5 a month from what I paid Nationwide! NOW GET THIS, I SUBMITTED A CLAIM FOR HER FINAL EUTHANASIA BECUASE AFTER 2 YEARS OF THIS HER BODY WAS DONE AND I WOULD NOT TORTURE HER. SHE DIED PEACEFULLY IN MY ARMS AT HOME. NATIONWIDE continued to BILL my credit card for an additional year ( It's my pet cc for business and unfortunately I was not closely watching the charges). I had fraud on the card and switched it so they could no longer bill it. I received a cancellation notice for Addie due to non-payment. She has been dead for about a year and they paid me for her euthanasia. I was told I did not have to cancel it that the euthanasia would automatically cancel the policy. Today I called and in speaking with Connie I told her upfront this is emotional for me due to the huge loss i still feel from losing Addie, and it is fueled by having been wrongfully charged all this time. She was kind and understanding, found the claim for the euthanasia and is helping me get reimbursed. SHE is the only reason I am even giving a star!
