Worst insurance company
Worst insurance company. It's been nothing but headaches since we have gone with them. Always say they are going to cancel our insurance for Non-payment yet we have proof they never tried to take the payments out of our accounts on the dates they said or at all for that matter. This is now the third time they do this. Seems to be every 2nd or 3rd month they say this to us. To add the money has always been in the account for them to take the payments. They don't. Then they send an email saying they are canceling

Petsbest has been so incredible and…
Petsbest has been so incredible and helpful through a very difficult time for me. I purchased this policy and about a month later my pup got diagnosed with anemia. After trying everything we could, we couldn’t save our girl. We were over $5000 in debt from medical expenses. We only had the policy for a month so I thought it was a long shot to file the claim but I did it anyway. After a few short weeks I received notice of the our refund due to the benefits in our policy. I understand every claim is different therefore we were not expecting much but they delivered. Although I would love to have my girl back, Petsbest has helped during this time I can’t thank them enough. If and when I get another dog I will be purchasing a policy through this company and recommending them to every single pet parent.

My experience with Sally was wonderful
My experience with Sally was wonderful. I had actually called with the intention of cancelling my policy and moving to another company as my dogs premium had jumped 68%. Sally was wonderful.. she checked into possible discounts we qualified for and discussed other tiers of protection as well since I had the most expensive. She also retroactively applied this discount to both my dogs. I can honestly say that it was her service and responsiveness that kept me and my two pups as customers. Thank you Sally

Pros and Some Cons to Consider
Pros:(Cats) - Online claims submission. - Accept cats of all ages. - Offer extra services. - Pay for routine dental cleaning. -Coverage starts fast. - Excellent customer service by7 phone. -Get a refund check via mail. Cons: -Frustrating online claims systems have always left me no choice but to email in my claim. - Must have a very thorough explanation of services accompanying the claim. - Do not pay for prescription pet foods. - Preexisting conditions reduce certain coverage. Advice: Submit multiple pet claims at least 4 days apart or else the pet's claims may get assigned the same claim number and one will appear as a duplicate claim.

Certainly Didn't Take the Sting out of an Unfortunate Situation
Our girl, unfortunately, got into a porcupine today (Saturday). We were able to find an emergency vet open about an hour away. We thought great it's only going to cost us the deductible, though still enough. When all was said and done, we thought Trupanion would be covering approximately $350 worth of the total - nope $96.93, barely the cost of a month's worth of insurance. We will be contacting Trupanion on Monday to confirm the expenses and their coverage.
DECEPTIVE POLICY
I put in first claim in 6 years for $1800 + last month. Trupanion charged me 2 TWO $500 deductibles on the same claim. They said it was for dental surgery and tumor.done at same visit! They issued check for$114.40 on $1800+ I've changed insurance AND STRONGLY RECOMMEND DON"T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

Claims processing is absolutely A+
First time purchasing insurance for my dogs as I've had 3 dogs before, all lived to 15-16 years of age and never had any health issues. For the next 3, decided to get insurance esp. since vet costs/prices have been going up (it costs more to treat a dog than a human nowadays) and just never know. Did tons of research and PetsBest was one of the 3 best choice and went with PetsBest for all 3 puppies one after another as soon as I brought them home. For nearly 2 years each of them been doing well, healthy, active. Then one day 1 of my dogs stopped eating, then even drinking water, just laying there without much excitement, stuffy nose. Took 3 trips total to vet and animal emergency hospital to get her help. Finally on the mends after a week of so much heartbreak and worries and enormous amount of money we had to pay upfront. While many vet clinics do not accept PetsBest at the time of treatment and we had to prepay, what blew me away is the 4-6 days turnaround on claims processing. And I'm not talking about few hundred dollars but thousands that we had to expend on hospitalizations, meds, fluids, etc. Been stressed out already having to spend so much money out of pocket at once in such short period of time esp. given the hectic month we have with other things. PetsBest handling and processing the claims in such a timely manner really gave us a huge relief. Can't recommend everyone to get pet insurance and cannot go wrong with PetsBest.

My sweet pup recently needed an eye operation. It was a big expense . I , frankly , wasn’t sure how I would make ends meet for the month . I was so relieved and grateful to find that my claim was paid within days of her procedure! It made it all so easy.
