Good company/SLOW reimbursements

Embrace has been good overall, however, be prepared for VERY long waits for reimbursement. Our previous insurer had worse customer service but their reimbursements went out within a week. Embrace typically over a month. Definitely feels like they drag their feet here compared to other insurers.

Healthy Paws is excellent insurance

Healthy paws is excellent Insurance. My five month old puppy had an accident in our pool and two weeks later had another problem with an obstructed intestine needing surgery. Healthy paws was there for both incidents without question and handled the claim quickly and completely. As long as I have a pet, I will always have Healthy Paws insurance. Thank you Healthy Paws!

Highly recommend Healthy Paws, I am not scared of vet bills anymore

I have been using Healthy Paws pet insurance for over 2 years(for my 2.5 year old cat), and I highly recommend it as a pet parent. Every claim I've submitted (around five in total) has been processed and approved , usually within a few days. The total claims amount to over $16,000, covering various events including surgery, ER visits, and other unexpected incidents. What initially drew me to Healthy Paws was the thorough research conducted by my workplace's pet parent community. They evaluated almost every pet insurance company out there, and Healthy Paws came out at the top. Unfortunately, many providers have a high rate of declined claims. Healthy Paws also stood out with the lowest number of declined claims among all the companies reviewed.

Many Pets was there last December when my Doberman Jolene swallowed a sock. I took her to University of Georgia and they were able to take it out. The following week she swallowed something else, but this one had to be surgically removed. Many Pets was there reimbursing me my cost minus my deductible almost immediately. I am grateful to Many Pets for helping save the life of my gorgeous girl Jolene.

I would give 0 stars

I would give 0 stars. Had them since my lab was a pup. Every year price went up. The last renewal quote for one 14 yr old lab, was $907/month on a policy that maxed out at $10k annually. Yet when they wanted to know why I wanted to cancel, they was bad a math. Long story short, for wellness stay away from that scam. For health either choose someone else or put in a savings account $300/month on your own for their life and use that. Until this industry get regulated and can rain in the out of control Embraces of the world…. Buyer be ware.

Smokey and Bandit Wellness Exam

This was our first claim. It was for a Wellness exam. We thought SPOT would cover most if not all of the wellness exam. The reality is they covered about 50%. Sad but true. Claim was processed in a timely manner thus three stars.

Read the fine lines, especially with breed exclusions!!

Our accident only ins plan covered basically everything BUT a 'cruciate ligament tear' which is basically the same as a torn ACL in humans. So b/c Beagles are more prone based on their stature, weight issues, etc etc blah blah blah... we had to pay out $4800/knee?!?!?!? I signed up for ins immediately after taking ownership of our pup & NEVER missed a darn monthly pymt EVERRR!! Typical insurance game... you need or responsible with taking out a policy for the "what-ifs" & then when those do happen in life there's ALWAYS some reason or excuse as to why you're NOT covered🙄 Ridiculous!
