Meh. It’s okay I guess.
It’s really not better or worse than any other pet insurance. If you want the basic wellness coverage, you’ll have to pay extra. It’s just as pricey as Fetch. It’s 60 for two dogs with accident only and coverage for their wellness visits. This isn’t even everything they offer and it’s also with a discount through my work. So yeah, whenever Bivvy starts accepting new pets, I’ll go there instead.

Processing time good, email communication different
I always appreciate that Trupanion can process claims expeditiously. The new system is not clearly explained to clients on the website, but it mostly seems to work. What was missing for this latest claim was the usual email I receive after a claim has been assigned a number. So I was surprised to see that on the cat's list when I logged in to check the status. All I had received was the initial email that the claim info had been received and then an email today that the claim has been processed. If there is something I should be doing to make our communications flow better, let me know.

Sick pup
My recently adopted Australian Shepherd/lab mix had terrible vomiting, and required an ultrasound and ER visit. Looks like she came to me with a cat toy in her tummy. I had signed up with MetLife dog insurance through the rescue group. Boy , was I glad I did!. MetLife was terrific. Easy to fill out the paperwork, just sent in the medical report snd the bill. I feel good about being able to take care of my Piper female without worrying about my bank account. Thank you, MetLife.

I am finding the same great comfort with them. My new pup had giardia when she came to me and it took three rounds of treatment to cure it. She also needed blood work and spaying and it was all covered. So very happy I decided on Met Life!!!!
I havnt had to use spot insurance yet…
I havnt had to use spot insurance yet so I can't give them 5 stars yet but the price was cheaper then other companies.

Convenient set up
Got a quote through Pawlicy, this made it easy to compare and contrast various pet insurances to get to the one right for me.

Cancer costs
Our girl Rylie had a melanoma on her rear paw. She had surgery. It was malignant. We went through hundreds of dollars in vet bills fighting cancer. She lost her fight. Through ALL we went through I could rely on Embrace pet insurance to help cover expenses. The agents/personnel were warm and reliable. After I filed a claim I was reimbursed very soon. I will never have a pup without Embrace coverage. I recommend them highly.

Policy holder since 2020
My boy Parker has been insured with ‘Fetch’ formally Petplan etc… Although, there have been many changes with names and application features. Lucky to say that ‘customer service’ has not changed. Next month will be Parker’s fourth policy renewal. Hopefully this continues into his senior years. 😛 Speaking to Brianna and Kelsey today was stress free. Both young ladies were professional, knowledgeable, and an employee every company hopes to have representing them. Happy ‘Human Dad! to Parker (Boston Terrier).
