Exceeded my expectations!!!
I had about 5 choices of companies that my work partners with for pet insurance. I initially went with spot due to its adjustability. I liked I could pick my deductible, yearly coverage amount, etc. having a puppy I added the wellness package as well. Unfortunately my puppy ended up getting severe allergies and we had to take her to a dermatologist for testing, which was more than I expected. Long story short she put on allergy shots and 5 other oral meds to help clear her skin. The claims process was soooo easy, fast and they stuck by their word. Since it was not preexisting it was all covered. I will say the preventative is covered at a baseline cost so if your vet charges more you will get the base amount reimbursed, it’s still saving!!! I will keep spot pet insurance forever and have recommended it to every one I come into contact with.

Is a peace of mind to have an insurance…
Is a peace of mind to have an insurance like SPOT, I meet my deductible which is not crazy and after that I had an emergency with my dog, I paid out of pocket $2,600 and then submitted a claim with all the required docs, truth to be told, in less than a week I had my reimbursement and there was no hassle to get it, please consider spot for your dogs needs….

DO NOT GET THIS PET INSURANCE!
DO NOT GET THIS PET INSURANCE!! Their premiums go up every year!! We have NEVER used the insurance and the premium has doubled in the 3 years that we’ve had it. We got the insurance for our golden retriever when he was 3 months old and he is now 3 years old. He has had some health issues, so now if we switch our insurance none of the issues will be covered. Deceptive company who price gauges every year. Went from paying $65 when first enrolled, to now $142 3 years later with NO CLAIMS!!

The wait period was long and the addition of documents could be improved. I accidentally added the wrong document in the medical records section and had to redo the claim because I couldn’t remove it. It would be helpful too if, when adding the invoice, the total and date field were automatically populated from the invoice to remove the chance of human error and make the experience a little easier.
