Raise Prices Every Year
I was happy with Fetch when I first got it. It was affordable and I felt good knowing my dogs were covered. My dogs are (just turned) 4 and (almost) 3. Their premiums have doubled since I got them insured. They were insured since almost day 1 and prices have only gone up and up and up. They don't give any discount for adding a second pet and they are not simple to deal with when submitting a claim. They will try to relate ANYTHING to a pre-existing condition. My dog had a cough as a puppy and they tried to tell me her pink eye was pre-existing from the cough over a year prior. I had to fight to get $30 eye drops covered. The app glitches often and reimbursement is slow. I have contacted them already about all of these things and their response took weeks and was basically just excuses why. Including the area I live in, just like car insurance. So no matter how well I take care of my pet, if I live somewhere they deem more hazardous, they will charge me more. Like they assume if I live in a city I'm going to let my dogs play in traffic. When I first signed up they said the premium increased in accordance with yearly vet increases. This is so NOT the case. My insurance is so much now, that it would be cheaper to just pay their bills outright at the vet. Fetch does not provide more or better service for the price increases either. I would definitely do things differently next time. If my insurance continues on this trajectory I would have been WAY better off setting monthly money aside for any illness or emergencies they may have. Insurance is not affordable for the average person. It would be nice if a company that actually cared about pets' being well being existed in Canada. Right now it's just as cash grab tugging at our love for our pets.

Claims continously denied
Pretty much seems like everything I submit is denied. Very frustrating when I'm spending $1200 a year.

Seems like they are ready to take your money, but slow to respond... Pumpkin was way more responsive ( within 24 hours of submitting a claim ).. All mine are pending. Possible like all insurance, not worth it..

I am currently shopping for pet…
I am currently shopping for pet insurance. I have not decided on any company yet. As I have been reading the reviews I have noticed alot of cookie cutter responses from said insurer to the customers which have found it to b a bad experience paying Embrace for policies. These are hard working Americans who are just trying to love their pets properly and for a company to steal these people's money taking advantage of the love they have for members of the family is despicable. It almost sounds like alot of the "reviews" that are favorable are AI produced. Shame on you!!!! We hope you slide down a pole of razors into a pool of alcohol. We hope it hurts when you poop.

Always great, fast service
It is stressful enough when your pup is sick, but ASPCA takes the concern out of submitting claims by the very user friendly website. They also reply with the final review and decision on your claim quickly. They are always fair which takes the financial stress out of the process as well.

I had a problem submitting a claim
I had a problem submitting a claim, and it told me to call. I called and they said to leave a message and they would get back to me. They did not. And it’s not the first time where they’ve asked you to leave a message and they don’t call you back. Submitting claims is confusing and it doesn’t give you full information. I received a reply on this site about calling them. I called. I got put on hold for at least 10 minutes so I hung up. I called back. I got an explanation on my benefits however, I did not get an explanation as to why no one ever calls back. The excuse was there was a holiday. That was only one of the four days. I have another call into them right now to speak to a supervisor. They need to make changes to their customer service.
