Our Nationwide Experience & Bruey's Story
My wife and I have nothing but good things to say about Nationwide Pet Insurance. We have used them for the past ~2.5 years since we got our Bernedoodle doggie, Bruey. Any time we had a question or submitted a claim, we always received top-notch service and genuine customer service. Before I delve into Bruey's story, I wanted to recognize Carl Hymer who helped answer several of my questions on a claims related topic. Carl was very professional, kind, down-to-earth, and knowledgeable. He was also patient and a great listener. That type of quality service goes a long way and is remembered by customers. Carl was a great representative of Nationwide. Save your money to avoid huge surprise increases as your pup ages
We were with Fetch for ~8 years and the last two years saw an insane increase in premiums (over an additional $100/month this year alone to total $300/month…). They had been decent with good customer service and quick repayments up to this point. When I called to cancel, seems I’d been reassessed and put on a “claim tier”, so basically because we claimed a number of things and my dog was now deemed higher risk the premiums skyrocketed? Save your money and just put a set amount aside each month as needed - no surprises that way! Very disappointed.

The Healthy Paws team was invaluable to me recently, when my dog needed bilateral TPLO surgery. The staff were kind, caring and professional throughout the claims process-from providing me with information regarding what would be covered, setting up a direct pay plan with my vet, the quick response to a setting up the plan and approval process, and such quick and clear communication with respect to the reimbursement to the vet. My vet also commented to me on how very professional, and what quick responses and thorough information and communication they had with the Healthy Paws team as well…. Setting up the direct pay, approving the estimate and then the payment, which was all done within a week of the surgery. And someone from Healthy Paws kindly checked in with me after the surgery to see how our dog was doing! Best service at a difficult time! Thank you Healthy Paws team.

When I got my little Frenchie everyone said to get pet insurance, I chose Spot and made my first claim within days of getting Spot, no issues whatsoever. I also made a call to a one of their vets, she was super helpful and incredibly nice! Highly recommended.

Fast and accurate claim process
Our baby was diagnose with cancer, with treatments he is doing wonderful. Treatments are costly, I was so glad I had subscribed a health policy. I thougt it would take some time to receive my reimbursements. They were processed quickly. I sent the diagnosis with my first claim. They had all the info and all my claims are processed within a week.
