Very pleased
Overall very pleased with Met Life Only problem I’ve had so far was the required “soap” notes to process a claim Her regular vet doesn’t do them so outside of routine shots or check ups I have to take her to a vet in town that does them. I recommend everyone to them asi it is straight forward insurance that covers emergencies or major issues but also pays for her wellness.

Reliable Claims Service
In recent months my dog has had a flare up in a previous issue identified while insured. Trupanion covered the issue once again without hassle or delay. I don't understand why anyone complains about this Insurance coverage. I have had it for about 8 years now on both of my animals, and one who passed away last year, and have honestly never had an issue. I highly recommend those with pets to get Trupanion insurance.

HP saved my dogs life!!
I have had healthy paws for my dog peaches for 10 years. They have exceptional coverage and customer service, covering all of her treatment including her recent stem cell therapy for her kidney failure! They have helped me cover surgeries deposits as well when the bill was just too high - they have never let us down! I 100% recommend HP to any pet owner that loves their pet, so money doesn’t have to get in the way of getting your pet the testing and treatment they need! Five stars for HP we are members for life.

Misleading: Coverage Starts Two Weeks After it Claims to Start
When attempting to make an appointment at a vet's office, I was asked if I would like to pay for pet insurance to cover the upcoming visit. I decided to go ahead and spring for it. I was given a confirmation that I had coverage from 10/17/2023 to 10/17/2024. Unfortunately, something happened on 10/17/2023 that I had to take my dog in for. Nearly $500 later, I opened the app to file my first claim and was told that, although it says I'm covered starting on the 17th, I could not make claims for any veterinary visit that occurred before 10/31/2023, which was not stated in the initial sign-up. If I am paying for coverage starting on a certain date, I expect that coverage to start on that certain date--not two weeks later.
