Terrible run
They do everything possible to avoid paying. Er visit dog choked on bone.....oh sorry it's a visit and we don't cover that....ummm it's an er visit not planned...nope. oh and you tried a hypo allergetic food....so 2yrs later your dog has allergies...yeah no we won't cover it. It's not worth it. They go so hard w not covering you it is better to take a loan and pay that off. I seriously have to tell you they are scammers and will stop at nothing to prevent paying. And it's 500 deductible all the time plus no visit is paid for regardless.

Good Pet Insurance
We have been with Pets Best since 2018 and this year we needed to use it for a TPLO surgery and I was not sure if they were going to cover it. They did cover the surgery and all the medicine and it was easy to submit the claim. We received 90% of the balance in 6 weeks. I really recommend this insurance!

I always felt pet insurance was a joke…
I always felt pet insurance was a joke & why bother until I rescued a hound mix who has major allergy issues. Unfortunately it was too late to get insurance to assist with that. But after the money spent on that we decided to purchase it just in case we run into any other issues which we unfortunately did. Grateful for the insurance since we are a middle class family living paycheck to paycheck like most Americans now a days. Just wish pre-existing was like the old days that if you went 6 mths with out treatment than it would no longer be classified pre-existing & be covered. Because her allergies are pretty seasonal & ends up being in the fall when the leaves fall. It be nice to have it be covered in that case.

Raised my premium almost double
Raised my premium almost double. Never had a claim paid out so don’t understand why. They gave me some excuse about costs being higher in the area which obviously doesn’t compute for my policy doubling. How much will it be the next year or year after that.
