Huge increases, slow payouts

Update: PB still takes a very long time to pay out but it did pay out a very expensive operation. So I am adding a star. Like all pet insurance companies they lure you in with a reasonable monthly rate and then rapidly increase it every year, often 50% or more. Pets Best also takes an enormously long time to pay out, last time I put in a claim it took about 2 months. I barely got any money back as it was the first time my cat had been to the vet all year and I hadn't yet paid down my deductible. I was shocked to see the huge increase I got this year. I will likely keep one more year then drop it if it goes up again.

Buyer Beware!!

The customer service is the only reason I gave a 3. I would have given 5 stars on friendly, informative and professionalism. However, I would have given 1 star evaluation based on Fetch polices. Buyer Beware!! This means as your pet ages and your insurance will increase... For the past couple of years our insurance premium has increased by at least 20% each year! I have had my monthly payment go from $43.00 per month (pup was under a year) to her Second Birthday it was jumped to $58.00 per month! (Don't forget the $6.00 per month charge for processing for on top of that.) There is only 2 options to lower this monthly fee. 1) To adjust her coverage from $10,000 annually to $2,500. Or... 2) To increase my deductible from $300 to a higher annual deductible. (Which replenishes every year at the date you started the policy.) I chose option 1. Which means I have less coverage annually incase something does happen. In my option, based on what I know now, I would research other insurance company's before signing with Fetch. And now I'm waiting for the year I get the increase... I can no longer afford to keep insurance for my beloved pet....Or have so little coverage...what will be the point of it. Keep looking.. For the the T in True. UPDATE in response to Fetch Pet... For the annual increases there may not be a "set" increase. However the percentage I gave is based on the past few years. And these Are the increases I have experienced thus far. And I would like to warn others of these facts. My father has other insurance provider for his dog and his annual increases have been under 5 dollars per month and he has been with them for over 4 years. Without adjusting his coverage! As for the transparency you claim your company has, "the bunch of Other options" to lower the cost of the premium, please due tell us all. I just do not understand why I have to adjust my coverage to make up for the hike in rates. For anyone New to the pet insurance world. Please do your research. I want to help & inform as many as I can. This review is not based on friendly customer service, it is based on their policies. I feel there are other pet insurance company's out there that have more competitive rates & better overall coverage.

Two Months and still waiting for claim to finalize

Worst experience in my life. I started my insurance claim on Nov.6th, 2023 when my car was stolen from my driveway. The police recovered the vehicle but it had about $5K in damages so adjustor had me take it to a garage while they sent an appraiser. On Dec.13th, over A MONTH, I finally heard back from the adjustor that they were going to fix the car. Then I got silence. Since it was leading into Christmas the garage said the car would be ready for a least a week or two so I contacted the Adjustor to see if I could keep the rental they had given me, no reply. I returned the rental and heard from the agency they hadn't been able to get in touch with the adjustor either.... Now it is Jan.2nd, (almost 2 months) my car is still at a garage, I have a charge of over $900 on my credit card from the rental company that was supposed to be covered by insurance and STILL haven't heard from the adjustor. The savings on insurance really isn't worth the stress of not knowing for months and being charged almost a $1000 around Christmas. ******update***** Followed reply below and sent an email. The response from email advised me to call the 1 800 general number and ask to escalate to a manager. Did this a week ago.... still no answers, still owe almost 1000 on my credit card. I spoke to Honda garage who was working on fixing the damage done by thief and they advised they also hadn't been able to reach the adjustor. Now Honda garage is telling me they don't know 100% for sure if Insurance will cover repairs due to no response Sonnet is a great example of you get what you pay for. They are inexpensive but heaven help you if you have to make a claim. Three months and my claim is still not settled

Recommend Embrace

After rescuing a 4 week old stray and experiencing the costs associated with saving him, I decided to obtain pet insurance. EPI was a tagline to my USAA Insurance, and after reading reviews on 6 or so other companies, went w/them. Short version: These folks are great. Vincent, one of my Tux's had a major mucus plug, UTI and was urinating all over the house. The final bill (Hospitalization, surgery, feline, recreational drugs, et al, was over $2K. Vet and I submitted ppwrk and all notes to Embrace. They paid out promptly, minus the deductible. The yearly fee for both cats has already paid for itself.

Worst grooming experience ever

ON December 29, 2023, I took my Yorkie Terrier to be groomed. This is the 3rd time each time my puppy come back not looking like my puppy. She very soft and fluffy although she was quite matted I expected them as professionals to try to save as much of her fur as possible, each time she came back with hardly any fur at all. I dont even know that she's my puppy. I give instructions before they take her back and they never follow through. This time was the last straw my puppy is now very sad she's shivering and is not her self. Also each time they charge me at least $30.00 more than the last time. I will NEVER TAKE MY PUPPIES TO THEM FOR GROOMING EVER AGAIN. I wish that I could show you before and after Pictures. I will be going in today to speak to the manager and request a partical refund.

Will never be without it

We had never used my pet insurance and because my furbabies had always been healthy and they had reach the age the premium was increasing a little more than I was comfortable with, I almost cancelled my insurance. Decided to keep it one final year. My oldest furbaby developed Lymphoma. Because we had MetLife we were able to get the best treatment possible for her and as of today she is still in remission. I learned my lesson. We will never be without insurance for them. MetLife as been wonderful through it all, reimbursements, claim processing and even renewal.
