The insurance is okay. Verify you have the correct zip code with them. Mine went unverified for a year and I called to quote adding another dog and because my zip code was wrong my rate went up $16 per month.

I joined Spot last year when we got a new puppy. Have not had to use until recently when my pup got a deep laceration from a dog bite. I submitted a claim which was easy to do, and not a few days later, I got an email stating a check was on the way!

Well worth the cost
I was hesitant to purchase pet insurance as I had heard many horror stories concerning high costs and poor service. But, I trusted USAA and decided to purchase Embrace insurance because of its affiliation with USAA. Two years later my dog Buddy suffered a broken leg requiring specialized surgery and multiple follow up appointments. Not only was it stressful but extremely expensive. Embrace reimbursed claims quickly; the staff was very helpful and the claims website was intuitive and easy to use. Best of all, the insurance more than paid for itself. I hope I never have to use it again but I will always keep my pet insured with Embrace!
