I've been really happy with Spot Pet Insurance. I have it for both of my dogs -- it's reasonably priced, and the reimbursements have been super quick. I've used it more than I've wanted to this past year, but it's been nice to have the piece of mind. I recommend.

I’m so glad I insured my cat! It makes vet trips a lot less stressful for me knowing I have it! Whenever I do speak to a representative on the phone they are so kind and helpful. Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars because my monthly rate went up with no explanation:(

RUN! I have a discounted premium rate thru my employer and they screwed me TWICE. You know it's bad (yesterday) when you fire them even with a crazy discounted premium!

Absolute waste of money
For as much as it costs, I would think more would be covered. I think I paid close to $600 for pet insurance for both of my cats, and out of my $6-7,000 vet bills over the course of a couple years, fetch reimbursed me for maybe $100 because the deductible is fairly high and both of my cats had health concerns during their waiting period that wouldn’t get covered. Despite their claims that every adult tooth would be covered, if your animal has periodontal disease that predates their coverage period, they will cover none of it. I cancelled it after 2-3 years, absolutely not worth paying for. I’d rather put what I’d spend on pet insurance in a savings account for emergencies. On top of it, when they told me they’d cancelled it they didn’t, and charged me for an additional period so I had to call and cancel again.

I am a brand new client and to the world of pet insurance. After purchasing a new puppy I wanted to get insurance since my last pup went through expensive arthritis and cancer issues her last couple years. So far a terrible experience with Embrace since February 1. Filled out all the paperwork including vet medical history. My vet filled out and signed the orthopedic report. There are zero issues health wise with my pup, but Embrace continues to reject the paperwork. They are requiring revised paperwork and an additional office visit at my expense just to satisfy their needs. Claims department sent a nasty email stating we are at a standstill with coverage even though I have no claims. Their customer service department keeps transferring me to other departments only to get disconnected and having to start all over again with my story and required follow up. I’ve invested many stressful hours only to have them come back weeks later saying the forms sent in will not suffice. They promised to call my vet and request them to print out a revised medical history only to find out they did not follow up. It just should not be this difficult to get pet insurance for a young pup and unacceptable that I paid in advance over $1,000 only to find out he is not covered. Considering cancelling and moving to another company. They are also closed weekends. Embrace-You need to treat your customers better!
