Carrisa took the time with me on the phone to help me locate where I could see my uploaded documents online. The phone pictures just didn't cut it doing the upload by the app. She was really conscientious and 110% focused on assisting me with the upload so I could move on to making a claim.

wishing i could give 0 stars

We have never missed a payment--Placed a claim for a cruciate tear surgery and after weeks of diligently sending Pets best every article of history, payment history ect that they requested in a very timely manner they denied the claim stating it was a preexisting condition-- my dog suffered from necrotizing fascitis aka a septic joint and was NEVER diagnosed with a cruciate tear in that leg...This is definitely disappointing considering i've been with their partner Progressive for YEARS and never had a problem with their partner. I would definitely go with another company in the future.

Not no but heck no

Not no, but heck no…It’s a typical insurance scam and they got me. You pay and pay and then when you need it they deny you for a technicality… “ your dog has 4 legs not five it’s not covered”! I do not recommend!

Doesn’t cover enough for what you pay. Premiums go up by massive amounts even after no claims. Not worth it.

I originally got insurance when a friends dog was in a freak accident requiring an $15,000 surgery. She didn’t have insurance and it took an huge toll on her finances. I decided to set my dogs up for insurance and after comparing companies was able to find awesome coverage for my two dogs that was $85 a month COMBINED. Never once made a claim. Happily paid my premiums. I even sought vet care for a minor emergency and didn’t file a claim because the cost at the vet was under $600 and I didn’t want to raise my premium for a true non emergency. Well my policy was set to renew next month and my premium was going to be raised by $40 a MONTH for my dogs. They won’t let you cancel online or through app so you have to call and sit on hold. The representative I spoke to was very nice and offered some other options to lower my monthly price but the coverage was minimal and the deductible was high. The point of insurance is to cover major emergencies and at the end of the day I just can’t justify $120 a month for two healthy pups when that doesn’t even cover basic wellness exams, prescription costs, exam fees, or preventative care.
