The just want your money
Told me that though my cat was undiagnosed (lymphoma), her symptoms (throwing up) started before the start date of my plan and so no expenses toward her survival would be covered.

NATIONWIDE IS NOT ON YOUR SIDE
Though I'm not one of the thousands of customers dropped by nationwide, my rate went up$1200/yr to $3600/yr and my coverage dropped from 70% to 50%. I have the policy 8 years since my dog was a puppy. Not real happy.

Nationwide-a $ hungry organization-buyer beware!
My new employer offered me pet insurance thru nationwide at a discount and I wanted to switch my existing nationwide policy to the employer plan. Nationwide told me I could switch at renewal. Upon renewal I called to switch it and then they denied the switch because the services rendered during the existing policy were considered pre-existing. They are a money hungry organization willing to tell what you want to hear just for a sale. I would have never selected them if I knew they would pull some deceitful bs like this. Buyer Beware!!!

Where do I start
Where do I start. Customer for 3 years. Claimed every condition wasn’t coverable due to everything being somehow related to anxiety when my dog broke a tooth. I got stuck with a $12000 out of pocket dental bill. Despite this and them not reembursing despite a written letter from the vet explaining that the accident had nothing to do with anxiety and me not claiming anything for the 2nd and 3rd year on a perfectly healthy dog other than the accident my premium went from $77 to $105/month on a $5000 policy that I had already reduced because they tried the same thing. If you do the math on the policies you might as well not have insurance. Anyways. Jacking premiums after the first year and then removing options to select for plan coverage to squeeze you into a cheaper risk category for more money is some really crap business ethics. Just another greedy company who is willing to squeeze every penny out of their existing clientele.

Invaluable Support with Spot Pet Insurance for Our Puppy’s Health Needs
Having Spot Pet Insurance has been an invaluable asset for our family, especially as we navigated the care needs of our puppy, Hanna. Hanna has faced unexpected health challenges, requiring specialized treatments and a team of professionals. Without Spot, managing her care would have been financially overwhelming. One of the greatest advantages of Spot is their straightforward claims process. Every time we submitted a claim, Spot was prompt in processing and reimbursing us. The coverage we selected has relieved us from out-of-pocket stress, allowing us to focus entirely on Hanna’s well-being without the constant worry about finances. The team at Spot has also been incredibly understanding and knowledgeable, always ready to answer questions about coverage or clarify details. For anyone considering pet insurance, I can’t recommend Spot enough, especially if you’re managing unexpected conditions. Their commitment to Hanna’s health and our peace of mind has made a tremendous difference during a challenging time, and we’re grateful to have chosen Spot Pet Insurance.
