ASPCA Pet Insurance is our best friend!
We've had ASPCA Pet Insurance since our Shih-Tzu was born. They've been extremely responsive to any vet bills, and it's also our single best insurance I've ever seen, and I looked at a couple dozen!

Cancer and my Boxer
Embrace provided excellent coverage when my boxer was diagnosed with cancer of the jaw and had to have a jaw removal and then chemotherapy. This was the second boxer with cancer, and for the first one they paid out over $18K over two years which is a LOT to provide the excellent care required by lymphoma, giving her an extra 2 years. I would never NOT have pet insurance and I am happy with them, four boxers now, one at a time.

Insurance Covered Major Dental Work
My elderly dog needed major dental surgery which was carefully and respectfully provided by my local vets. She was tested to see if she could handle anesthesia (she could) and surgery went well. When I submitted my claim, the insurance covered easily half of the costs which was deeply appreciated. Being a resilient mixed breed (poodle, schnauzer), she recovered quickly and is back to demanding attention, walks, treats and meals.

My experience has been really good so…
My experience has been really good so far And I’m so thankful that I have it as I have a seven year old dog who had a broken tooth and likely endocarditis from that. Afterwards she was diagnosed with lupus. It’s been a rough six months, but I’ve been able to provide good medical care for her because of ASPCA. We have the complete care and we probably will need to keep it the rest of her life and I’m thankful we can.

Very happy with Healthy Paws
We are very happy with Healthy Paws. Our Border Collie has a heart murmur which requires routine cardiologist appointments and special screening for procedures that require anesthesia. He also recently had a mast cell tumor removed, and a handful of other unexpected vet visits over the years. Healthy Paws makes the claim process incredibly easy and stress free. They have also personally followed up to check on his recovery after major surgeries or other critical care visits. It's a small but meaningful gesture which makes me feel like a real person with compassion for our dog is on the other end of the insurance process.

Stereotypical insurance company stall…
Stereotypical insurance company stall and deny tactics. Will not answer phone calls with a live person no matter what day of the week or time of day you call. Zero success in reaching anyone. Stalling on claims with the statement “pending complete medical history from your vet”. My vet sent in multiple times but yet they stall, I had my vet copy me on the last email with the required documentation attached, yet they still stall. Was really hoping they were different but they are standard insurance crooks they delay, deny and give zero customer service. Complete garbage of a company. On top of all of this they had the audacity to raise my premiums today! So their expectation is they should get paid even more for poor performance and crappy service. That’s a win, win, strategy for them and a losing one for me. No thanks, policy canceled.
