Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is EXCELLENT!!! I have been using it for years! Monthly rate is very reasonable!! My older dog has been having a serious health issue in last few months and Healthy Paws has been extraordinary in its reimbursements to me for some very expensive care! outrageous 250% premium hike to $320
Healthy Paws has been raising premiums at an alarming rate for years, way faster than the cost of vet care inflation which they originally promised to stick to. There was a class action against them in California that didn't go anywhere. We thought last year's hike was bad when they increased it by 25%. Once my dog turned 10 years old they increased it by 250%. Our premium is $320 a month now which is outrageous. It is as if they want us to cancel our policy. Now that our guy is old they don't want to care for him even though they've made plenty of money off of us for a decade. So much for being a loyal customer.

Metlife has been great insurance for my cat, they are covering all her medical needs, I never had a problem with them to the very end, when I sadly had to let her go over the rainbow bridge.
