My first claim took almost 45 days…
My first claim took almost 45 days while they looked for a loophole to deny the claim. After I complained they realized they had unfairly denied the claim and paid it, but they made me wait six weeks. My dog is a two-year old rescue Chihuahua. I disclosed to Embrace in November 2023 when I insured him that he was a rescue dog and his medical history was limited. Seven months into the insurance the dog was throwing up, not eating and his stomach was growling, so I took him to the vet and filed a claim. Upon review of his surrender vet intake visit, Embrace determined this was a per-existing anorexia condition because the previous foster parent had taken him to a vet 11 months earlier for not eating. He went from surrender, shelter and foster home all in one week. Find me a rescue dog that doesn't stop eating when he's moved around three times in one week. SHAME ON EMBRACE! They are out of touch with reality and it appears they hunt for loopholes to deny a justifiable claim. And forget calling them. I tried several times and the hold times are ridiculous long (easy fix - hire more reps or pay more claims). If you have a rescue dog with limited medical history this insurance is not for you. I'm truly disappointed, they are not all that they claim to be.

Great service but not without the odd glitch.
I have had Pets Best insurance for several years, was previously with 2 other providers. I have my 3 current dogs all insured with them. I like the way you can choose your coverage level and deductable level, this really helps based on your budget. You hope to never have to use it but that's what insurance is I guess but when one of your dogs suddenly needs $7000+ in medical services it's a game changer! However if would be nice if more vets or Pets Best had direct billing so you are not initially out of pocket. Regarding claims I've found that sometimes you will be reimbursed within a couple of days, sometimes several weeks which I've never understood. Phone help has always been very good with them. I would give a 5 star but as I mentioned it's a 4 based solely on the direct bill and claim payment time, other than that they've been excellent and my dogs get the care they need.

Lucy was quick to understand my questions, however still took the effort to ensure her understanding was correct. Lucy was quick to respond, and very informative!

This is a price gouging company
This is a price gouging company. I had coverage with Many Pets for 4 years since first bringing home my dog. I recently moved states for work. When I called to update my address I was told my premium would nearly double in price from $32/month to $57/month. I have never filed a claim. My dogs health has not changed. They are taking advantage of a work move to price gouge and now leaving us with unaffordable coverage. They claimed it was due to the state I moved to being an "expensive state" but I called later pretending I was moving to a different state and it was the same price hike. This is not a trust worthy company and I would highly recommend looking elsewhere. If you look through google reviews you will find many similar stories unfortunately.

Hard to get paid.....site hard to use
Embrace doesn't correspond well. Very hard to get my claim processed. 7 months. Your website is unusable to me. I have been on it several times and it is always down or never "usable ".
