The claims process has been very easy
The claims process has been very straight forward and simple to do. I like that they update me often to let me know status of my claims.

🛑 Red flag
🛑 Red flag I enrolled my Golden Retriever puppy immediately after I brought her home at 12 weeks old. My monthly premium with a 550 deductible was 96$ a month. 1 year later my policy renewal, premium is now 121$. This is ridiculous. Never once filed a claim, my girl is Healthy with no medical issues. sorry but TruPanion needs to do better than this. I was blinded by there statement of they pay the Vet directly. Only recommend if you don’t mind premium increase of 25$ a year

Terrible vendor. Website and app down since Nov 2025
I've had Pets Best for over three years now and when finally seeking to get reimbursement for coverable elements of my dogs annual checkup, found both their app and website are not only down, they've been down since November 2025! This is ridiculous in this day and age. Have been trying for a solid week to reach them through their phone line to no avail and now will have to file through email. Suffice to say that I will be canceling my plan after this. It's ridiculous to pay $720 a year for insurance that I cannot get assistance

I’ve used Healthy Paws Pet Insurance…
I’ve used Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for over 10 years, and they’ve been excellent. Claims are easy, reimbursements are fast, and there are no surprises. Their customer service is professional and compassionate, and they’ve given me real peace of mind when my dog needed care. I highly recommend Healthy Paws. 🐾

Was not paid for operation because…
Was not paid for operation because there were no pre existing vet visits. To me that means no pre-existing problems. Canceled my coverage after receiving no help. Would not recommend this company.

You never know what might happen
You never know what might happen. I purchased insurance for my pet. When he got sick from eating spoiled food, they provided stomach pumping services practically free of charge. I recommend this company to everyone.

Peace of Mind
MetLife Pet Insurance is always quick to respond to my questions and easy to file a claim. This gives me great peace of mind that my pet’s health is as great a priority to them as it is to me.

My policy went from $76.77 to $91.65, Trupanion is criminal
My policy went from $76.77 to $91.65. I cancelled the policy as a result and went to Pets Best. Trupanion continued to charge me for 7 months eventhough I had cancelled due to a loophole where they called me and LVM to be sure I really wanted to cancel although I was already confirmed as cancelled. Because I didn't call them back, they kept my already canceled policy active over $700 bucks! They won't let me hear the call where I canceled and are refusing to refund me. Very angry and disappointed in them. DO NOT USE THEM.
