These people are impossible to get in…
These people are impossible to get in touch with. They don’t answer the phone. The email I have doesn’t work, and when my dog died it took me almost a week to get in touch with them to cancel the policy.

MetLife
I have been impressed with MetLife pet insurance. I have two cats on Pets Best and one cat on MetLife. I would give a high rating to both. The only thing Pets Best has that MetLife does not, is the opportunity to have them call the vet clinic and pay my bill for me (only available to veterinary employees). Other than that, MetLife has been fantastic at getting my claims done FAST. I adopted a cat who was at the vet weekly getting various treatment for months, including a CT. Thousands of dollars!! MetLife was on it! No hassle and quick response always. They reimbursed me a percentage for everything. I have found that Pets Best is slow in their response to me with previous claims and MetLife is way faster so far. MetLife is a couple dollars more a month than Pets Best but so far it is worth it. I would recommend either insurance in general.
Met Llife for Pets
I have been pleased with Met Life for healthy visits as well as sick visits. A few claims took a while to pay, but came through in the end. I am so used to now having insurance for past pets that this has been very helpful in cutting costs of vet care!

Quick, reliable, and empathetic service!
We used Spot to insure our sweet, adventurous indoor/outdoor rescue cat that we found as a stray. We had a few claims from vet visits, both routine and more urgent, and had no issues at any point with being reimbursed. The process was easy and the reimbursement was in our bank account within a few days, each time. Our boy unfortunately passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly at only 3 years old. After I created a claim for end of life services, Spot reached out letting me know they cancelled our policy for us and that we could still submit any necessary claims. Then a few days later, we got a call from a caring agent with Spot, asking us how we were doing after his death. Honestly, I never expected such great service from an insurance company! We will absolutely use Spot again for our future pets.
