DO NOT sign up with this pet insurance…
DO NOT sign up with this pet insurance policy company. They have denied my dog coverage of a cardiac condition he developed as a result of his advanced age - 17 - claiming that it is excluded as a “congenital” disease. My vet wrote a letter in support explaining that my dog contracted mitral valve disease due to age-related circumstances and that it was never an issue before this, that no records in any exam indicated any cardiac issues in the past 16 years. Still, they denied coverage making this bogus claim. I’ve been a customer for 17 years and have paid well over thousands of dollars through the years, just for them to deny this??? My dog has hardly ever been ill before this incident. I am appalled at this company and would STRONGLY advise you to look elsewhere for your pet’s health insurance needs.

I Spoke with Don
I had the opportunity to speaking with Don, customer specialist. I had made some mistakes when submitting claims for my Beagle Daisy. Don quickly handled the situation and straightened out the errors I had made. I really appreciate the time Don took and effortless handled the situation for me. We have had Fetch Insurance for our Daisy for many years and have had to file claims. Thanks again Don for helping me.

Intriguing Coverage, Not-So-Great Process
I don't like how I don't have an opportunity to ask questions about coverage or see a comprehensive list of what is covered prior to having to pay; I also do not like having to pay for 2 months before the policy is underwritten. It does not make sense to have to wait up to 14 days for the policy to be underwritten but only have 10 days to cancel and be reimbursed.

Amanda is a True Customer Service Rep - emphasis on CS
Amanda LISTENED to me and did NOT keep me on hold alleging to help me make sure Callie actually had an insurance policy that I paid BIG bucks for. After being on hold for 10 minutes waiting for an answer about if I even had a policy for Callie (have one for Reba too), I called back and got Amanda. BEST customer service Rep ever.

Such a disappointment
Be careful if signing up for the wellness package as the customer service agent gave me misleading information. I was told I would have $250 in dental cleaning coverage and was then told months after I added the wellness package to my policy that it was actually $125. Fetch has done nothing to rectify this situation despite my sharing the email proof where I had even specifically clarified the amount of coverage as there were discrepancies. I made it clear in my communication that I would not purchase this additional policy if the coverage was only $125 for dental and was assured that I would receive $250. After discovering this error and contacting them I was told a manager would look into it. Had to wait a month for their reply which informed I would only receive $125 towards dental and that’s that. Not sure how they can get away with selling a policy under false pretences and then there is zero accountability or recourse. Additionally, each of the 3 times I have submitted a claim there has been a mistake such as over charging for the deductible or not covering part of the exam fee for annual check up which is part of the wellness package. I get the sense they don’t care about pets but are all about the money and will do everything to deny claims or pay as little as possible. You have to constantly be on your toes with them which really defeats the purpose of having pet insurance which is supposed to provide peace of mind. Typical insurance company. I will be switching to another company as soon as possible.
