Peace of Mind

The claim process is very easy on the App. I have a response in just a few days. I have had five dogs in the past 26 years, and dog #5, Powder, is the first to have pet insurance. It gives my husband and I great peace of mind knowing she can be treated, right now it is for HGE (very scary), and most of the cost will be covered.

Poor customer service

Back in January, I was involved in an accident. Since then, I’ve had my vehicle repaired and everything taken care of. All that is left is for Sonnet to reach out to enterprise so I can get my security deposit refund refunded. But unfortunately, my claims officers, is refusing to answer any of my calls or voicemails Here is his name Mayank Hapani In the last month, I have left several voicemails and I’ve heard nothing back. And on top of this every time I use their live chat it always gets disconnected while in the middle of a conversation. I am very disappointed as I’ve been with this company for over six years. All this time I had no idea Sonnet was so unprofessional. For anyone looking for companies avoid this one.

Simple process, but pre-existing condition coverage unclear

The process was very simple, but it was not clear (until I called an agent) whether any conditions covered by my current Nationwide plan would be considered a "pre-existing condition" on my new Nationwide plan... unfortunately, the conditions which were covered before are considered pre-existing now, even though I'm moving from one Nationwide plan to another

Unclear coverages before paying

Seems as though my policy was approved without any input to myself. I thought certain items would be included and they were not. May have made my decision to not get the insurance. Still haven’t fully seen what I paid for.

So far I've been very happy!

So far I've been very happy. I've put it to good use with one of my pups this year and I came in handy with a foreign body surgery for another. I will also add that I wasn't hit with a big premium increase with the previous dog's surgery so hoping that this is due to some pretty good actuaries. I'm cautiously optimistic that I won't get punished for this my current dogs illness. But I will say that Embrace has been nothing short of amazing. They have been timely with all payments and claims processing. I took a break from insurance after having a terrible experience a few years ago when my premiums were doubling year over year with another carrier. But then when I got a second dog I revisited and chose embrace due to its positive reviews, coverage and value. I'm so glad I did!
