Expensive but worth it
My almost 13 year old male cat has been diagnosed with kidney disease. It's awful but hopefully we can manage the progression. Although my cat's premiums raise every year it is expensive but worth it. I know I can get the care he needs without putting a dollar amount on his life. I wish the process was a little quicker but overall it's a good service.
My dog was attacked at a dog park and needed stitches. It was an expensive day at the vet but Trupanion was there as usual for me. Claim was processed effortlessly and fair. I keep expecting to be disappointed because insurance companies are so difficult to deal with most of the time. Please keep up the good work Trupanion. The stress of a pet injury is enough to worry about!

The customer service is great! I have a 11 and 1/2 yr old Australian Shepherd that we rescued three years ago. I needed some clarification on a request for reassessment on a claim and and the customer service was so patient and calm to clarify what was needed. This insurance has helped us out a great deal with all the past and present unexpected and the normal wellness health issues that our best fur-buddy has shad since our adoption of him. It is reassuring that we have this service.
I have tried several insurance companies and have had horrible experiences. I love this insurance. Easy to make a claim and unlike most carriers, cover more. I don't have to wait months for my claims and the website could not be easier. 5 days and my claim is in my account. I have led others to aspca insurance and they have been pleased as well.
My did had an accident and the insurance was great. I got my check with in 2 weeks of submitting. Definately takes the pressure off of very expensive unexpected vet bills.
Very fast, accurate, processing of claim that covered several vets and hospitals and tests.
Trupanion was recommended as the best pet insurance by a specialty vet after we had already incurred heavy charges for a previous condition. We signed up, and over a year later our cat had a serious fever and infection requiring multiple tests and vets' involvement. Not an easy claim to process since it was our first (and hopefully last) so previous records had to be gathered and evaluated before starting the evaluation for this illness.
