Any Reason to Deny Coverage
I purchased Healthy Paws insurance for my dog based on representations made by company agents and good reviews relating to coverage. I wanted to avoid an insurer who arbitrarily denied coverage. Unfortunately, we have had a negative experience with Healthy Paws. Healthy Paws has taken the position that any time our dog experiences diarrhea, which is not the result of any preexisting condition, Healthy Paws has no obligation to provide coverage. This position contradicts what the representative told me on the phone prior to purchasing the policy and the language of the policy. I attempted to resolve this issue with Healthy Paws prior to posting this review, but it has refused to provide coverage.

Pets Best has been awesome
Pets Best has been very responsive to my dog family needs. I have had a senior I adopted last year, she had more health issues than we knew ad Pets Best Provided her with the best response and coverage. They are also very compassionate.thank you Pets Best :-)

preventive plan is just a discount program
Paid $250 for each cat for preventive care. With a $450 bill from each, it turned out that they have a cap and deductible which maxes out at $250. I think its a scam the woman I spoke to said I should have read the policy more carefully.

Great Great Great pet insurance company
I have a 7 year dog mix breed about 100 pounds. Great family dog. Long story short he has mast cell cancer that is attacking his internal organs. We removed his spleen and now he is starting chemo for the next 8 weeks. You could only guess the amount of money this is costing. Before I even got my credit card bill I already have checks from Trupanion and another is on the way. They respond fast and there are no surprises with this company. I would recommend them to anyone who has a pet. Thank You Trupanion.

Allowed my wife and I to save our poodles life.
Instead of writing a review, I just copied and pasted my response to a Healthy Paw representative who was checking on our standard poodle, Georgia. "Georgia is recovering nicely form her liver failure and our hopes is that we can start to cut down on her medication. Unfortunately, in getting back to her old mischievous self, she swallowed and passed a nylon stocking, causing quite a disruption to her digestive system. Thanks for your concern, my wife and I hate to think of the decisions we’d have to make if we didn’t have your service. best, Nicholas

The Best!
I am so happy that I have had this insurance for my pet Mia for the past 12 years. Thank goodness, because Mia has been ill and without Petsbest coverage I would not have been able to treat her illness and give her some additional time and make her comfortable. Besides the fact that I can't bear the thought of loosing her! After investing so much time and love with a member of your family, it is wise to have the insurance, never knowing what the future brings. Thank you Petsbest, your service is excellent!

worth every dollar, helpful, accomadating
I recently enrolled my 4 year old bluenose pitbull with PetsPlusUs. The service has been amazing and the staff have been very accommodating. My dog somehow managed to tear her ACL ligament on her right knee. The expenses for the surgery and post-care medications were over $3000.00 . PetsPlusUS covered and paid the veterinary hospital directly and I had to pay the remainder. Apporximately 2 months later, my dog tore her ACL ligament in her other knee, that surgery and post-care cost once again over $3000.00 . Once again, PetsPlusUS paid the veterinary hospital directly and I paid the remainder. The staff have always been helpful and assist in any way possible. I recommend this insurance company to everyone and all my family/friends with pets.
