Of course it doesn’t start when you first pay…
Thought when I bought this it would at least cover when my dog started limping about a week after I purchased it, so made a vet appt. No, coverage starts 2 wks in--so what is the 2 wks one pays for to get started? Dog is limping more and more but I cant afford vet bills is why I didnt have a dog until I found her at the dump--and why I thought it wise to at least pay for pet insurance.

Prompt Service and Quick Processing
When our lab was injured by another dog it was very frightening. Of course this would have happen off hours when our vet was not open. We went to an emergency 24/7 animal hospital where my dog spent the night after he was stitched up.I felt somewhat reassured that some of our out pocket expenses would be reimbursed. The only thing that could have been better with the claim was the reimbursement of the $100 emergency vet fee, feel they should consider covering this fee as it was not a regular exam.

Exceptional response and follow-up!
I did extensive research before enrolling my two pugs with Healthy Paws. Everything I read before enrolling convinced me that Healthy Paws provided the best coverage for the $s, the fastest claim response and the highest claim reimbursement - every time! All this has provided to be unequivocally true! They even personally contacted me to check on how my pug was doing/recovering after her extensive surgery, as well as to assure me they would continue to send positive vibes and help to ensure that our pugs continued to have access to the best medical care! Trupanion is one of the best insurance products I have ever used in my life. I bought it for my Boston Terriers when they were both puppies and my female has had 2 medical incidents. The payments have been so timely, so hassle-free and the customer service so incredible that I just had to leave a review. I would highly encourage anyone who has a pet to use Trupanion.

I had the misfortune of having to have bilateral elbow fragmented medial coronoid process surgery done on my 10 month old rottwieler, and immediately opened a claim with Trupanion. The representatives that I spoken could not have been more professional, compassionate and helpful in assisting me with the process. The claim was initiated over the telephone and I received email notification of very change in the claims process. The claim was finalized in less than one week after being initiated. This was my best insurance experience ever, human or pet!

Emergent FLUTD & follow-up care
Trupanion handled our claims in a timely fashion and has covered a significant portiion of our costs in treating FLUTD, even while we are on vacation and away from our regular vet. Would be nice to have had the second exam covered when he had bloody urine.
