Great to work with!
Gunnie chewed up her e-collar (& duct tape) after her spay surgery, and was vomiting. She needed xrays to determine if there was an obstruction. I sent the claim form and her records & the invoice to Trupanion. The $ will be in my account today.:)

Find excuses not to pay anything and everything. Accepted a 7 year old showdog, not neutered, now refuse to pay for emergency surgery for life threatening illness (pyometra) because she was not neutered by age one. That was after they said it was because she was (1)a service dog (she is not) then they tried (2) breeding dog (she is not). Letter submitted by vet explaining necessity for surgery. Really bad company.

it was fast, easy, and everything that they claim
Because I didn't have the policy for very long I was not sure if they would cover her illness and they did. other companies that I had contacted would not cover her at tat age or the price was very high.

PetsPlusUs paid fast and was AMAZING!
Our little Jack Russel Terrier puppy Jack who had always been in perfect health and pretty god at staying out of trouble, unexpectedly got into a bottle of ibuprofen one evening while we were out to dinner. We discovered the travel sized Advil bottle chewed open and a few pills on the floor, and had no idea what to do. It was too late to call friends, and we didn't know if it was a danger, or if anything was wrong, because our sweet little Jack was jumping around and playful as usual. After trying to find answers online, we were not sure if this was an emergency. We remembered the helpline with our insurance plan and decided to call. They quickly answered even though it was by now 2 am, and asked for some specifics about what happened, they were compassionate and thorough. They then put me on hold while calling the poison control line and came back to confirm this could be really serious, that I should not wait for symptoms to appear and get to a hospital immediately. They were calm and supportive but convincing enough that I figured out where there was a 24 hour hospital and took him in right away. Little did I know that this was a potentially fatal situation. Had I not called them and had their good and thorough advice, Jack may have died. The vet taking him in explained we had two choices get him into treatment right away, which involved immediate admittance and payment, or take him home, however she explained if we took him home by the time symptoms would appear it may be too late. He might be at risk of kidney failure. I was at a loss, knowing we had the insurance in place to back us up financially helped us make sure we got him into immediate treatment, and we were extremely lucky we did at that time. He had in fact been poisoned and several days later, we saw how dangerous this had been. The treatment didn't take after the first 24 hours so we had to run more tests and admit him again for another 3 days. Without our coverage it woudl have been financially devastating. We received the refund for the first hospital visit before Jack had even fully recovered and we received the follow up reimbursement in full within 5 days from submitting them. No questions asked. In addition, during the process I had tweeted PetsPlusUs thanking them for the support and the product, i was so devastated as we waited news of how he was doing, that I didn't know what else to do.

Thankful for Coverage!
Who knew that whenw ebrought home our beautiful 8 week old male black lab puppy that we would becoem best friends with our vet? We took ASPCA insurance as a precaution sincewe were adopting a puppy. We have encountered many things with our beautiful boy: from totally gross oral warts to an injured throat due to the ingestion of a stick... and each time we had peace of mind knowing we were covered. All of my claims have been paid quickly and anytime I have had to interact with the service line, folks have been friendly and helpful.

Wish I had know that I had a $500. deductible!
Some of this visit for Max was to review his status on an illness /skin rash he had on an earlier date. He was then also given rabies and kennel cough shots. I believe some of the claim should go toward the illness aspect, since that was the main reason for returning to the clinic. Maybe you can pass this info. on to the Vet from Oceanview. Thanks. Still fabulous
I've been with Embrace for almost 7 years and have nothing but positive things to say. I have two dogs and a cat, and while one dog and the cat have required almost no care, my 13-year-old cattle dog mix, Peggy, has Cushings and arthritis and a variety of other age-related issues. My Embrace coverage gives me the ability to make her final months/years as comfortable as I possibly can. They provide superior coverage at an affordable price, with quick reimbursement. It's really amazing. I wish my human insurance worked as well! I recommend Embrace to friends and to all the veterinary professionals on Peggy's team. Thank you!

Extremely Satisfied!
My German Shepherd recently had to go to the ER as she was having trouble breathing and swallowing. The vet sent her to a specialist who ultimately recommended surgery to fix any potential tears in her trachea. I submitted the bill the day after surgery expecting all kinds of loopholes and requests for additional information, etc. Instead, to my surprise, the claim was approved in less than 24 hours without any additional requests! And, we even received an e-mail checking on our pup to see how she was doing. Purchasing this insurance was absolutely the right decision. Having peace of mind when you are having to make health decisions for your pup is priceless!
