We have been with Embrace over 15 for years
We have been with Embrace for years. We have been completely satisfied with all aspects of this company, from customer service to covered expenses and to the timeliness of reimbursement. I am however shocked with the increase in our premium, from $155 to $250, with no advance warning of such a steep increase. I called and the reasons given made no sense. A $100 a month increase is quite a shock.

Embrace is very easy to use
Embrace is very easy to use. I signed my pup up as soon as I got him. We've had one illness and I sent in the invoice and got a response to it being covered within just a few days. The reimbursement to me was less than 48hrs from their review. Very easy to use. Great coverage and fast customer service. I have already recommended Embrace to several friends.

Heed the warnings of others
Heed the warnings of others! They will raise your rates (double in my case) and then refuse to provide explanations about specifics even when asked. Their agents are well trained to speak in hypotheticals but they do not have access to underwriting decisions so they can't be specific. The 'first at fault collision protection' is an absolute gimmick. They will not honour it. What's worse, they rely upon email for notifications of significant changes in the policy and assume that if they don't hear anything then it is agreed upon. You can bet though that if you miss a payment, they will get in touch with you personally. With all of the spam inundating everyone's email these days, email is not effective or fair for such significant notification. Just an unethically operated business. In no other industry can you raise price/ premium etc by 100% and just assume that the customer "accepts the contract."

Love Me Some Pets Best
My senior retired greyhound is living her best life with weekly acupuncture and gym work. I can have the peace of mind knowing she is getting the care she needs to live a healthy and active life with PetsBest coverage. They offer a variety of coverage choices so I can pick which one is best for her and which is best for my younger grey."

14 years of excellent coverage and care
I've been using them for 14 years (started with PC Financial Pet Insurance) and have had my two pups fully insured (lost one 4 years ago). I can't say what things are like for new members regarding pricing, but I have been very happy with the customer service the very few times needed (maybe 3 times in 14 years?) and the fees. I've been tracking everything since August 2020 and for my one pup (senior years, my pup is now over 16 :) rounded down: Amount paid in vet bills: ~$31000.00 Amount Eligible: ~$27000.00 Co-pay: ~$6000.00 Deductible: $2000.00 Amount refunded: ~$19000.00 Absolutely worth every penny. She is relatively healthy and happy, still has most of her teeth, can see and hear just fine, (too healthy) of an appetite - I fully believe it's because I've been able to give her all the healthcare she's needed because I've had thus insurance. The only reason for 4/5 stars is there is no direct billing which would make things a lot easier to manage, but no regrets, and I recommend (ANY pet insurance at the least!) but this has been good to me.

Sick dog
Easy claim filing, quick pr and quick covered expenses deposited in account
Will never ever recommend NATIONWIDE PET INSURANCE
So my dog she is 12 years old now. It was originally VPI "veterinarians pet insurance" when we rescued her at 2 months old. They were great for the very small claims anything under two $300 they will cover me before 40% of it. However 2 years ago she had major surgery which cost $8,700 to remove bladder stones at the animal hospital so it was an emergency. Submit all the claims and all Nationwide covered was $895. Of course I called them several times after that and submitted the paperwork several times however nothing else was done so I bit the bullet cuz I love my dog very much and I paid out of my pocket $7700. Okay so 2 years now she needs her gallbladder removed. And of course the surgery is $7,600 at the animal hospital and again contact Nationwide and $895 again. So even though I have the middle tier I asked them what if I had the best insurance through them which is the higher tier how much would you have covered? $1,900 was the response. I said to them what surgery do you see that cost $1,900. Listen I'll expect them to cover everything of course but even if they were covered half of this I would have found that acceptable. Now at this point I cannot afford this so eventually she is going to die. Of course getting her gallbladder removed we can of course hopefully pray that we get several more years out of her. Even the surgeon and everyone else says they should be covering at least 80%, however so this is why I want to write this review please stay away from Nationwide regardless of what it is pet insurance home insurance car insurance anything from them they are definitely not on your side. You have no idea how upset I am cuz now we're talking about a life over money. I'll leave it at that.

We have been paying insurance for our 4…
We have been paying insurance for our 4 year rescue for two years, no issues to take your money, no requirements or docs needed. Now that we needed to file a claim. They want history from before the adoption which doesn't exist since she was a stray. They keep asking for the same information which doesn't exist. And keep denying the claim. Stay away from them.
