Bad option for lifetime of a dog…
My dog has been covered with nation wide for 8 years. They got rid of a lot of pet plans currently and this last year. If your dog has preexisting conditions before they are 9 years old, you are screwed if you have nation wide. If you want your dog be covered for a life time do not go with Nation wide. Now, I have my dog's preexisting conditions that will never be covered because of Nation wide kicking us out of their plan. Nationwide will betray you when the dog gets old.

We've had Healthy Paws pet insurance since our goldendoodle was two and through a broken leg, a lipoma that needed removing, and surgery for cancer, we've never had any issues with payment on a claim. Healthy Paws was recommended to me back before I got my German Shepherd and wow I am so glad I took that advise. My guy has been through a lot and they have payed for majority of his most expensive surgeries (mostly dental) and even some stuff with regular vet check-ups which isn't typically covered with a lot of insurance companies. I would highly recommend them to any pet owner!

Sending in claims and estimates are super easy to do . I had to take my 7 year old boxer to get her teeth cleaned because she started having bad breath and it turned out that she had to get 3 teeth extracted and they found a cyst in her jaw. This unexpected bill really set us back with all the bloodwork , medicine and the procedure itself. I reached my deductible super fast and Spot helped me cover a little more than half. I did it all through the app
