I submitted 3 claims . 2 a few months back but they texted me in 2 days 2 say they received claims and was reimbursed within a few days . I was very pleased .

I chose a $200 deductible, thinking that exam fees were for routine preventative care. Instead, I should have planned on ~60% higher costs in the event of an injury. $200 deductible (lifetime, but per-incident) + $125 exam fee (per visit).

I like Trupanion but it takes quite some time and effort to gather all the documents, scan them, and send them digitally.
Also, my dog has severe anxiety and it is not covered under the plan. Ridiculous. My dogs mental health absolutely affects his heart, allergies, nervous system, skin and coat... as well as digestion, when he eats our couch because he is so anxious to be left alone.
You need to adjust your basic plan to take into consideration any condition where the animal is taking Rx medication to try and manage the symptoms.
Please reconsider your stance.
