As a new customer of this insurance program I found the person I spoke with to be kind and prompt with getting my questions answered on how to submit a claim. She sent me the form I needed to complete which helped expedite the process.
She even said she hoped our young dog, who had been quite ill, was recovering well.
I felt cared about and the experience of that call was very positive.

In all my dealings with Trupanion, I have found them to be efficient, fair, and very quick to settle up for costs covered by my policy.

Our dog was peeing blood which is indicative of several potential serious diagnoses.
Our dog was peeing blood, which is indicative of several potential serious diagnoses. We took our dog to the nearest emergency vet, and insurance denied full coverage despite us paying 130/month for insurance for YEARS. We did not feel supported and the customer service rep was condescending when we called to inquire what was happening and why there was no pre-approval. As a grad student who has to choose how I spend my money wisely, I am extremely disappointed that I’ve spent so much money on Trupanion insurance all these years. I could’ve saved so much money.
