Honest review
I was given a free 1 month trial from the e breeder to be activated 24 hours after the puppy was brought home. I tried to activate it and it was difficult to do so. I was told I would be called back in 24 hours to activate the free month and was not.
Al in all not the end of the world. I signed up anyways.

I typically give Trupanion high scores on almost everything. However at the moment I’m still reeling from the notice of increase to my premium next year almost 22%) after another big increase last year (18%). Both of these are far higher than any previous year since we enrolled (9-12%). Michelle capably explained the reasons this might happen and of the reasons she outlined I suspect it’s a second emergency clinic that opened in our metropolitan area two years ago. I now understand and can find no real argument for the way Trupanion has chosen to do this, it makes sense and is better than basing increases on your pet’s particular history. I am just not liking it and from now on I will include this additional piece of information in any reviews I post in various forums I’m on for pet owners.

I submitted 20 claims all in one mailing to the Trupanion office. All claims were looked at within days of receiving with payment made immediately after the claims were approved.
I purchased pet insurance for my pup, just to be on the safe side. When he turned one he was diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy and I was heartbroken and stressed out on how to care for and cover medical expenses. Trupanion stepped and offer their service and they approved a lot of the expenses to be covered. I will never regret getting pet insurance. And would highly recommend for our fur babies !
I mentioned the benefits and good service by Trupanion to a dog owner yesterday during our walk at Como Lake Park. Another of many times I've done this over the past 9 years.
