The claims are taken care of immediately. All of the staff I have talked to are very knowledgeable and professional. They are concerned about our furry babies. That makes me feel comfortable knowing they do care.
The claim was submitted on December 2020 with itemized bill and the vet was listed as well as on file. Vet hospital is easily reached. I had to call at the end of the month asking what’s the status and was given excuses. Had to say I would cancel if it wasn’t processed within a week’s time. I received an email the very next day it was processed and amount reimbursed. Received the check today, January 8th. Over a minute nth from the submission.

The claim for which I recently received a check was fine, but there is another pending soon that required a call to Trupanion about their interpretation of the estimate from the veterinarian. It is still not quite right, as it appears some of the deductible has not been applied, and there are some charges for medications during the procedure which I feel should be covered and not denied.
