They have processed my claims as quickly as possible & deposited any monies directly to my bank.
I've had trupanion now for 8-ish years. I've never had an issue with getting my funds back when I submitted the claims. Now, I'm with a vet that sends my information while I'm in the office and trupanion pays their portion so what comes out of my pocket is my share of the bill which makes life so much easier. Be it trupanion or any other pet insurance, I think it is fundamental to have it for your pet. You just never know what might come up. I would have spent thousands of dollars on my dog and all his surgeries throughout the years if it wasn't for the insurance.
The Customer Service Representative was very knowledgeable and helpful in getting me signed up. The main reason I signed up with TruPanion is the fact they have no annual deductibles.
I choose this rating because signing up for Trupanion for my pets was so easy. The process and also the information was such that I understood what I was reading. It was also very easy to adjust the deductible to what my family needed.
Having both of my dogs insured by Trupanion has helped so much with my expenses. One of my dogs in particular has had some health issues over the years and I have peace of mind knowing Trupanion is there to help.
I wasn’t given any options for payment other than credit card or debit. That was my first experience and I must say I almost didn’t sign up. The customer should have the option of choosing how to pay for the service in my opinion, not have it dictated. I know of no other insurance company that conducts business in that way.
