Our Tail (Tale) of Bucky
On April 19th, 2025 our Maltipoo 17 months old had a decrease in appetite, was hardly drinking any water. He started vomiting and had bad diarrhea. He was very lethargic and had brought him to the emergency vet hospital where they performed various bloodwork, scans and also gave him intravenous fluids and various medications and kept him overnight. We had heard that someone was poisoning the feral cats in our neighborhood. Our Pet Hospital was close astronomical. We were so glad that we had Pets Best Pet Insurance for our pup Bucky . Pets Best Insurance was very fair with our reimbursement. We highly encourage and recommend people to use Pets Best Insurance for their pets health plan coverage. By the way, Bucky is back to being himself, and the person who is poisoning the cats is still at large. Thank you PetsBest !"

"I had only had insurance on my young cat for a few months when she got very sick, requiring emergency care and hospitalization. The cost was steep. I submitted my claim to Pets Best fully expecting to have to answer lots of questions before they would pay. But no, not one question asked, and they paid in full. Embrace is the BEST!
We purchased our Embrace Pet Insurance for our 4 dogs in May, 2024. At the time we had 3 German Shepherds and a Japanese Spitz. We have had many dogs over the years but never insured any of them. Since we got all of these dogs in 2023 I thought 2024 was a great time to get pet insurance. The main reason was because of the 3 German Shepherds. Well in August, 2024 my Japanese Spitz puppy was diagnosed with cancer. Our Embrace insurance paid for her weekly oncology visits until the end of October with no hesitation. I would submit her invoices and have the reimbursement in our account within 1-2 days after submission. Embrace made a terribly sad situation better by us not having to worry about the financial side of it. Embrace did everything their insurance promised! I recommend to all friends with pets to get Embrace!

I’ve had a great experience with claims process
I’ve had a positive experience with MetLife Pet Insurance so far. The claims process is incredibly easy and straightforward, with a quick turnaround time for some reimbursements while others take longer (almost 3 weeks) - not sure why. Their app is user-friendly and makes submitting claims a breeze just snap a photo of your invoice and upload it.

Don’t cover anything after you’re with them
Terrible about finding reasons not to cover any conditions after you’ve been with them for a while. At the same time they greatly increase premiums annually. I’ve been with them since 2019, terrible treatment of loyal customers.
