I used to have Nationwide for my previous dogs, and I always had to submit the medical bills. With Pets Best, I don't have to submit them, and they will call the vet directly. I do like that, but it seems to take a little longer to get the claims approved. Other than that, everything seems to be going ok.

I've had Spot Pet Insurance for almost six months now. I've been on the fence for years about purchasing pet insurance. I made the move and have insured three of my five cats. Two of the five are seniors with preexisting conditions so I opted not to insure. The process to establish insurance policies was very simple and straightforward. You have multiple options to choose from. The policy itself is very easy to understand and it literally spells everything out what is covered and what is not. I have submitted numerous claims thus far for my youngest cat which unfortunately has developed some intestinal issues. The process was flawless and speedy. I never had to wait for reimbursement longer than three business days. Three Business Days! What insurance company do you know of that reimburses that quick? WOW, this company is five stars all day long! Thank you Spot Pet Insurance for being the amazing company that you are! I recommend this company to every person I know that has pets. Buy a policy! You can't wrong with any option you choose. Trust me, you'll thank yourself for reading all of the reviews on this site.

having MetLife Pet Insurance was definitely one of the best decisions I made when have more than one dog (we have 3), since they offer coverage for wellness (exams, vaccines, monthly heartworm) as well as injury. Couldn’t be more pleased with MetLife. I haven’t had to use them in the early years but now that my first dog is older some issues have come up and all claims have been paid to date . The process time has been great as well.

Thanks goodness for Figo Insurance in an emergency.
Our dog, four years old, has always been healthy. In December, he contracted a strange cough. Took him to our vet twice. He was diagnosed with allergies (it was most likely kennel cough). This incorrect diagnosis and improper medication made it worse. Long story short; due to a bad diagnosis, our dog ended up with pneumonia. We contacted the 24 hour vet line and the Figo vet instructed us to rush him to the ER. He was in the hospital for six days, on a ventilator for two. We have never had to use our pet insurance before. Thank goodness for it. The bill was huge. With two days of submitting all receipts, the money was deposited into our account. I feel sorry for those who have to make the horrible decision to let their pet go because of how expensive emergency care can be. He is now five years old, back to near 95% after his severe pneumonia, thanks to Figo insurance.

Pet Parents with good Pet Insurance Experiences
MetLife Pet Insurance has been really great so far. After reaching my deductible, our puppy's vet visits have been pretty much paid for. It was really easy to sign up and have the monthly payments taken out of my check, here at work and it usually takes a couple of days after entering a claim, via the app, for payment to go back into our account. As pet parents, that learned their lesson without insurance with our last pet, MetLife has really come in handy. Would highly recommend.
