My dog is diabetic and must wear a Libre 2 plus monitoring disc for her glucose readings. She must also eat a special dog food for diabetics to control her glucose spikes. Pets best denies both of these as part of the treatment and will not help cover the cost

Astronomical increase in premium
We have had Healthy Paws insurance for our pooch for more than 8 years. Lately the premiums have increased astronomically year to year, with the most recent one going form $141 a month to over $450. This is completely ridiculous. We have had no issues with payment of claims and they say the increase isn't related to claims filed - but they make it impossible to continue coverage with them. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Ken was good. First rep I spoke to prior to him I believe Angelica was rude. I had questions before going through with insurance since I was looking for something in particular and trying to understand. She made it seem like I did not care about my pet or had interest in taking care of them. Third rep I spoke to forgot his name, was pleasant and made it easy for me to add the addition.
