Trupanion has been supporting us through this stressful time. Not sure what the problem was a few months ago, but very happy they are back on track. Would recommend to all fur baby parents.

Healthy Paws is by far the best pet insurance out there! The claim process is extremely easy and fast and the customer service is wonderful! I highly recommend Healthy Paws for all your pets insurance needs!

I purchased insurance for our dog & our daughters dog. When it came time to actually use the insurance in both cases after weeks of processing we were told that both dogs had pre existing conditions which was not true. In both cases they paid out very little if anything for our claims. I / we find them very dishonest to deal with. Will never buy insurance from them again. Buyer beware !

Timely and orderly process on claims

We have had nothing but excellent response from Trupanion. Our baby has had some internal issues that have not been diagnosed yet. Trupanion has been there every step of the way. Best choice we’ve ever made.

THIS INSURANCE IS GREAT IF YOU PURCHASE, WHEN YOUR PET IS A PUPPY/KITTEN. AS THEY GET OLDER, EVEN HAVING ALL THE ADD ON'S, ITS A WASTE OF MONEY! THEY WILL FIND ANY REASON, TO DENY A CLAIM. THEY USE THE WORD : PRE EXISTING CONDITIONS" REALLY?? I WAS PAYING PREMIUMS OF $125 A MONTH, WEATHER MY POOCHES WENT OR NOT! THEN 2 OF MY DOGGIES, HAD ISSUES COSTING ME WELL OVER $10K IN 20 MONTHS, AND THE INSURANCE COMPANY.. ONLY COVERED YEARLY SHOTS! SO, I CANCELED RIGHT AWAY, AND GOT A CARE CREDIT CREDIT CARD, WHICH COVERS MY POOCHES, WHEN I NEED IT, AND ALSO HAS A 6 MONTH PROMOTION, NO INTEREST, FOR 6 MOS, AS LONG AS YOU PAY IT OFF. SO LIKE I SAID, IF YOU PURCHASE THE INSURE, WHEN YOUR ANIMAL IS YOUNG, IT WILL PROBABLY HELP YOU, OR IF GOD FORGIVE, YOUR PET GETS HIT BY OR CAR OR SOMETHING, IT MAY HELP YOU... MORE $$ OUT EVRY MONTH, AND NOTHING IN THE END~ PLEASE SAVE YOUR $$.

I sent an email requesting clarification on a partial payment of a claim. I got no response at all.

Dear Healthy Paws Family, I can’t begin to thank you for helping to take such good care of Haley. I know that she was a very costly dog for your company (starting before age 1 and all through her 8 years), but please know how much you helped to give her a full life until her sudden and unexpected passing. We would not have been able to give her the care she needed and deserved without your help. She was truly our precious pup and blonde beauty. Our hearts are broken. I rave about your company to anyone who will listen: what types of care are covered, the fast turnaround when a claim is filed, and the caring people on the other end of the phone whenever I had a question or concern. I’ve used several different companies over the years and Pets Best is, well, the best! The claims process is super easy. They almost always process the claim quicker than the estimated turn around time. While the rates do go up every year I still find it affordable. Especially compared to the vet expenses without insurance. Only one of my claims was denied and after sending them more information it was approved. If you don’t have pet insurance, get it! And make sure to check out Pets Best!
