Keep looking elsewhere for insurance
There’s no reason why a claim should take over 6 months to process. There’s no reason why there should’ve been zero movement on a claim for over a 6 month period where reps of embrace just abandon the claim and leave clients high and dry. There’s no reason why I as the paying customer should be doing the representatives jobs and contacting all of these clinics myself to gather medical records that they’re suppose to retrieve. My claim sat for over 6 months because my rep didn’t want to pick up the phone and contact the clinic my dogs rescue brought him to before we adopted him. It took me 3 minutes on the phone to gather the information that they couldn’t gather between the time of June to January. My wife and I will be exploring new pet insurance from a different company.

I recently submitted a claim for my 12 year old dog who experienced seizures. Although the reimbursement took some time to review, we were reimbursed within the prescripted time period. Everyone I spoke with was courteous, professional and caring, which goes a long way with me.
