I just submitted my first claim to…
I just submitted my first claim to PetsBest for my new puppy's first visit to the vet. Before doing so, I called and spoke with a representative because I purchased a "puppy package" from my vet that included all vaccinations, etc through the first year of my pup's life. By doing so, I saved myself, and PetsBest close to $300. Most of the items included in the package have not been delivered, even though paid for, I was instructed to go ahead and submit for the whole package. What I wasn't told was that I would not be covered for the items not delivered yet and would need to resubmit every time we received a vaccination. This is what I was trying to avoid since I had paid the package in full. For this reason only, I'm giving 4 stars vs 5. I would have given 5 because payment for my claim for the items that were covered at the time, was paid to me within a week! That's great!

Nationwide is such FANTASTIC pet insurance!
This insurance is top-notch and well worth the cost. They are timely, fair, and always pleasant whenever I have had a question. All policy maximums are clearly stated in your policy documents, so there are no surprises. They will also help you if you ask about your policy limits at customer service. I am SO GLAD that I have my pet insured through Nationwide. They have been a lifesaver and given me great peace of mind.

I think everyone should get pet insurance through Nationwide
Since joining Nationwide a few years ago through work for our first beagle, the claim process has been very simple. We fax the claim and usually within 2 weeks we are reimbursed. We've saves hundreds of dollars. We now have our 2nd beagle on the program. I highly advise everyone to do the same.

Good service, rates too high!
I have had pet insurance since the day we got Penny. The first couple of years, it only went up a few dollars a month, but since Nationwide took over, the rates have drastically increased. Your service is excellent as was VPI, but a change in rates from apx. $25/mo. to $79/mo. in 8 years will soon price me out of any insurance.
