Thank god for Pet Insurance

My Cat Corey tail was broken by a bathroom door I had to rush him to emergency pet hospital I was told he needed surgery and the cost would be $1045.00. I was so happy that i was able to give Corey the best care by having ASPCAPet Insurance I tell all my friends who have pets to take the time to have Pet Insurance it shows that your pet is part of your family and you want the best care for them.

Thankful for ASPCA Insurance

We just took out a health insurance plan for our pet this year and it has already paid for itself and saved us considerable money. The claims are processed and paid in a reasonable amount of time. Information is emailed and on line so it is most convenient.

Two Jacks One Snake

After nearly losing both of my Jack Russells to rattlesnake bites,my insurance with ASPCA was quick to process my claims for anti-venom and hospital stays. They really stepped up and showed me that this insurance is well worth the small premiums we pay. Thank you ASPCA

never again without insurance

My dog Jake is an accident prone Border-Collie/Lab mix that needs pet insurance. After he ate his sister's bottle of Rimadyl, we found out from the emergency room that we would have been covered by ASCP accidental pet insurance. Now we have the ASCP insurance for all five of our dogs. Jake is still accident prone and just cut his foot digging in the yard, but this time the bill was easier on the pocket book.

Saved Zelda's life

Zelda, our German Shepherd puppy was our first family dog. Naturally when she beacame ill it was very heartbreaking to the whole family. My 12 year old son cryed everyday she spent in the hospital. If it were not for Pets Best, we could not have afforded the care that she required. Pets Best saved our puppy. I will never have a dog without having their protection.

Awesome Coverage, Great Customer Service

I signed up for the Essential Plus plan almost a year ago and while I've use the coverage for minor issues that have come about, I recently NEEDED the coverage. Sophie, my beagle, sustained a major laceration while running through the woods. She had to be seen on emergency and stayed in the hospital for 3 days due to the extent of the injury (neck area). Not only was customer service excellent in helping me with the claims process but I received a $3,000 check in the mail 9 days after I sent in my claim. Sophie is now doing great (still runs through the woods like a fool) and I was able to pay off my bill at the emergency clinic. I would highly recommend this company to any pet owner!

You really shouldn't be without pet insurance.

If you can afford it and love your pet(s) I highly recommend getting medical insurance for them. I like Embrace and thier coverage while sometimes I find thier reimbursments to be a bit slow thier customer service is top notch.

Great Insurance

I insured my two cats about 18 months ago - one was 2 years old and the other was 12. I chose Embrace because of the good ratings on this site and the fact that they would cover my older cat, at least for accidents. Many insurers would not cover him at all. Since then my older cat got bit by another animal and the claim process was fast and easy and the check came promptly. Everyone we dealt with at Embrace was pleasant, professional and seemed to really care about our pets. Then my younger cat also had an accident on Thanksgiving day which meant taking her to the emergency clinic at paying high holiday rates. Again, the claim process was fast and easy and the check came in a week. In both cases the claim was fully covered minus our deductible and the 20% co-pay. We are very pleased with Embrace and would recommend them to other pet owners. We just wish they covered people, too!

Nice folks

It took a while to get all the faxes i sent in to get acknowledged and sorted out by the company. But that was partly my doing for sending in multiple items on receipts. Its best to keep your receipts simple and only have claimed items separated on to singular receipts. I was only using the wellness program during this faxing ordeal. It took them a long time to acknowledge my ortho report card. I had to fax it 3 times. I thought I would be getting the wellness claim at the same time, but that never happened. Again, perhaps i was not clear on my end. Once I called and emailed later on, we got it all straightened out. Everyone there is super nice and they answer the phone right away. Thats a hard find nowadays. And all worked out fine after I learned the ropes.

Think Twice if You're Considering Healthy Paws!

According to the Healthy Paws web site, the company covers up to 90% of the cost of treatments and provides coverage for hereditary and congenital conditions. REALLY??? This was NOT my experience! I recently adopted two special needs puppies. Kobi, a mixed breed, was born blind (congenital condition) and I have taken him to the opthamologist at Angell Memorial Hospital in Boston TWICE in his young life of 7 months old now. Both times his tests were normal, including intra-ocular pressures, and there have not been ANY signs of glaucoma, cataracts, conjunctivitis, uveitis, dry eye or any other eye condition that requires treatment. He is blind...that's it. He is on NO medications for his eyes or anything else. Because he is congenitally blind from malnutrition of his mother which caused impairment of his eye development and resulting blindness, I was told by a Healthy Paws representative that they would not cover ANY eye issues. Really? Healthy Paws advertises that it covers congenital conditions! And while I understand that it does not cover pre-existing conditions, Kobi has NONE, outside of blindness. So I could understand if they wouldn't cover an operation to restore his sight (which the opthamologist already told me does not exist), but I cannot understand why the company has determined that it will not cover ANY eye problems. He has no pre-existing or current eye issues as I mentioned. After the "waiting period," the company will cover hip dysplasia in breeds known to
