Chocolate Covered Raisins

One of our dogs ate a pound of chocolate covered raisins that I left with them in the car by accident. Because we didn't know which dog was the culprit we had to put them both in the after-hours emergency vet. We have and Embrace policy on the one that actually ate the goodies (based on induced vomiting and diarrhea). We submitted a claim last week and were informed to day that we would be getting a payment that was exactly what was outlined in the policy. Every aspect of this situation, AFTER the crime, was handled professionally and with compassion. Nice job Embrace.

Unbeliveable customer service....

As luck would have it my dog had to get eye surgery the first day he became eligible. I called Healthy Paws immediately and was welcomed by a very helpful person. I told her about the surgery and asked if I would be covered. She took my information down and returned my call in twenty minutes. From the information I gave her it looked as if I was going to be covered. By the way I received this customer support on a Saturday afternoon. Now the bad news... After they reviewed my dogs records, we realized it was a preexisting condition. I was not aware that he had this condition in his eye. Although, I was disappointed, the information they had was correct. However, Healthy Paws did not just shuffle me away. They called me to find out if there was any more information that could help my case. They even called my vet to speak with them, looking for something that can help my case. At the end I did not get paid on my claim. But, Health Paws tried everything they can do. They went the extra mile trying to help me and treated me with respect and honesty. In the world we live in today that was very comforting. It also took some of the sting out of not having my claim paid. I still receive emails and phone calls asking how my dog is doing. This is truly a great company that cares about you and your pet.

Outstanding Coverage & Claim Settlement

We have had pet insurance on our Great Pyrenees and two Bichon Frises for over 14 years - the past 6 years with PetsBest. We have had tremendous medical expenses with our Bichons but the coverage we have with PetsBest has greatly helped with these expenses. They cover everything promised, no hassle in charges, services, claims settlement and their reimbursement checks normally arrive in the mail before our American Express statement arrives. We love our little girls as we love our children and grandchildren, have always provided them the very best in their lives including veterinarian care and are very appreciative to have their health insurance through such a superior company. We have recommended PetsBest to all of our friends and can not recommend PetsBest highly enough to everyone.

Happy with ASPCA

ASPCA has provided coverage for my aging King Shepherd, Taffy, even though she might end up costing more than I will have paid in premiums. I have submitted claims for two incidents. ASPCA reviewed the claims quickly and paid promptly. The amounts paid helped me a lot. I feel that I'm supporting the SPCA while still receiving some relief from vet bills.

Submitted 1st Claim with Great Results!

Embrace has been a great pet insurance so far! I have a 9 month old Goldendoodle who tends to eat anything on the floor and had to get a full set of x-rays a month ago. He ended up only having a stomach bug, but after my deductible, Embrace covered the whole thing (with his medications-- I highly recommend getting the drug/dental extension). I am very happy with my decision to sign up with Embrace. I'm a medical student and can be found on Facebook, so you can be sure that I don't work for Embrace.

Satisfactory Wellness Plan Reimbursement

I am very satisfied with the quick reimbursement from Embrace regarding my wellness plan claim. I purchased the $200 wellness plan, and all the annual wellness exam/procedural vet fees were accepted and reimbursed up to that amount. I am still working toward reaching my $500 deductible for the certificate of insurance accident/injury plan so can't comment on the results at this time. My back-and-forth e-mail communication with the Embrace professionals has been more than satisfactory as well.

Healthy Paws is the BEST!!!

STOP!! If you are looking to insure your pet, then you need to stop looking at other options and sign up with Healthy Paws! I spent days, really weeks, researching the best way to insure our new baby and until I talked to Jen at Healthy Paws I was more confused with each call I made and less then impressed with any company. Sadly most these companies repeat the dreaded recording “monitored for quality control”. Healthy Paws doesn’t need to police their reps, because they hire the right people in the first place! They hire vet techs so you get the right answer, the SAME answer every time. They are experts and know what they are talking about, without referring to a script or cheat sheets. They answer your questions with knowledge and integrity and with CARE! I talked to Jen the day before I had our little girl spayed, I didn’t sign up that day because I was preoccupied with the surgery our pup was going to be going through. Jen sent me an email (keep in mind this was BEFORE I was a client) and assured me that if my vet was unreachable over the weekend to give Healthy Paws a call, because with their background they may be able to help. That’s all I needed to read to stop looking and hand over my peace of mind to this group of fine folks that cared about me and my dog before they needed to. I have been so impressed with each conversation I have had with this group, and as they told me when I signed up, it was their pleasure answering all my new pet parent

Consistently Positive Experience

We have used Embrace for a year and a half and very much appreciate the responsiveness of the staff. They acknowledge the receipt of claims and then process those claims expediently (one to two weeks). They don't send "generic" emails loaded with jargon, just simple, direct communications about the status of the claim. The Wellness plan supports preventive care and provides more peace of mind. The reason I rate them 9 instead of 10 is that they do not cover genetic conditions particular to your breed. I only know of one other insurance company that does, but I have been so pleased with the professionalism and personal touch at Embrace, that it would take a lot for me to switch.

Good Service

With our Murphy we received timely response on his health care claim. Although I'm a little disappointed with Cody's claim which I felt should have been taken care of already (guanranteed it was faxed over the Thanksgiving holiday which I think the claim center was closed that Friday) but I should have heard something by the 17th and still wainting.

Trupanion premium increases

I have had Trupanion since my Lab was 8 weeks old. They signed me up at a rate of $33 a month, but within the first year they increased my premium to $45 a month. In the 2nd year of coverage they raised my premium to $51 a month. Now I have just recieved a new notice advising me my monthly rate will be $71 a month. They always claim this not because of claims history but because of higher Vet. costs. Well my Vet has not increased his rates in the last 3 years, but Trupanion has increasd my premiums by over 100%.
